(p.s. before you read this. I wrote it last night, but fell asleep typing)

Happy hump day Jaderbugs. I always feel weird saying that but I also can’t help it. Right?!
This post is gonna be sorta short and sweet (like candy) because I had a full day and I am just getting to my computer! I sorta love day’s like this. You know, those day’s where ALOT get’s done.

Lately I have been “slowing” down a little bit. I can’t lie to you. That is very hard for a person like me as I am sure it is for many of you too! I like to go, go, go. You know how that is right? We tell ourselves there is “never” enough time in the day. What we are doing is telling the UNIVERSE there isn’t enough time and they are giving us exactly that. As a blogger it is sometimes hard to pry my fingers away from ONE of our computers. It’s my job. I have been putting my phone down after 6 pm until EVERYONE is asleep in the house. Then I let my fingers get back to work. Try it! It feels good!

I had so much fun with this mirror. A while back it was white and I painted it this color to spruce it up. I felt it needed just a little bit more! All I did was use paint, brushes, and sponge stamps. You can do whatever colors you like because after all, it’s gonna be your creation…

If you wanna see more of me find me here:

Make sure and send me any pictures you have of your updated WHATEVER!! (hehe)
You never know, I just might feature you on the Jaderbomb blog.

Happy Saturday Jaderbugs! I slept SOOOO good and my coffee is SOOOO good right now! I have a few new things lined up to post  but none are 100% complete! So I thought this would be the best time to post a few crafts from last summer. A little old school for ya this morning!

This is NOT from last summer but I want you to get it if you have not yet! It’s the greatest checkoff list ever. Put this up on your fridge and watch in excitement as your little kids get to check off things your family does together! You could even have a 100 day’s of Summer journal! Write a little bit about each thing you check off!

Have some old furniture lying around? Does it look old and frumpy? I’ve got the solution! Get over to your local craft store, or Walmart and get some .99 bottles of acrylic paint! Watch the magic happen!

Remember the movie UP? I do! It is prolly my favorite! What a fun way to brighten up your day! Paint your nails like balloons. Every time you look down you will think of the movie and it will put a smile on your face!

If you are like me then you might have TON’S of paint cans laying around. No worries! Check out what I created!

Want to reuse your old Era or Gain bottle? Check out this fun craft that I made!

I hope you enjoyed me bringing back a few crafts I did a WHOLE year ago! Happy Weekend Jaderbugs!

So. I have sorta been a little sick the past few days and I have been unable to make a craft from start to finish without wanting to rip my hair out. You know how that is when your sick. Everything. is.  After a little thinking I thought it would be a great time to just feature something that I have in my house.  A post that doesn’t require ANY work! I like that!

I guess I will tell you a short story about “how” this happend. One of my good friends came over the other day while we were cleaning and “re-arranging” things. There was this ONE little spot in the house that needed SOMETHING. Can you believe I was stumped. Yeah, I know. I have brain fart days too! Now my friend is a “coach” and doesn’t really care about “arrangement” of things or decorating. I mean, she might care a litte but it’s not like her brain thinks of these things every day. Just wanted to throw that out because SHE IS THE ONE WHO SAID, “J, I think this would look cute right here with something on top of it”.

I just looked at her. Gave her the STANK eye and listened. I swear, I couldn’t believe it. Who knew!

So that is the story how this happened. Now, after she gave that advice she shot out and went who knows where outside! I was left to decorate the top, haha.

BTW: Have you seen my “HOW TO CUT GLASS” tutorial? Check it out here!

I also did a fun way to dispense matches HERE!

I think this is the cutest thing ever!

Do you remember my post I did the other day on my PHOTO ROCKS? Click HERE to see it! It is really the best thing to add that whimsical touch. Plus if you are like me, it’s an easy way remember something if you collect rocks!

INGREDIENTS:

If you don’t have a camp stool you can use anything with legs and add a tray to the top! Be creative! Use what you have!

You can add whatever makes you smile to this tray. This is just what I added.

Yes, I am a Louisiana girl. I like furs.

I get my rabbit furs from Hobby Lobby. They have a ton of them by the leather section. They are only like 15 bucks! Get your 40$ off coupon and grab a couple! (unless you don’t like it then get some floweres)

Here is a little closeup for all my Jaderbugs! This is practical too!

Moral of the story. Next time you see a coach quickly quiz them with a decorating question.
You might learn a thing or two from them!

Have a great day full of “jaderbugging”….

I know we all love making our favorite spaces warm and cozy! Sometimes we look for the most expensive things to make this happen. Today I am going to show you how a simple “vintage” window frame can do the job for you.

If you don’t have any window frames like this check out antique stores of just ask some of your friends. You would be surprised how many people have the suckers stashed away!

INGREDIENTS:

You can use any color hooks that you want, try to use the same color as the ceiling. If you don’t want to use twine you can use fishing string or ANY string you think will work! Chains work great too!

Grab someone you know and make them pose with it first! HAHA

Screw two screws at the top of the window frame on each end then screw the next two into the ceiling. If you measure the distance from the screws on the window frame this should help you determine the width on the ceiling!

That’s it people! It’s that simple! It really dresses up a spot quickly!

Sending you happy thoughts today!

“Mirror Mirror on the Wall, Who Is the Fairest of Them All?”

Hey Jaderbugs! I could not wait to post this craft! I have NOT seen the new movie yet but I absolutely know all about the “original” one! If you wanna check out the website for this AMAZING movie that I can’t wait to see, click HERE. Did I mention that Florence sings in the movie. YEP. The video is on the website and it’s a MUST see!

Let’s start crafting!

How perfect is this! You can see so many different reflections in all of the itty bitty mirrors every time you look at them. It’s like a party in your eyeballs! I have to say I have been using using “mirror’s” for a long time and if you follow me then you know this! There is just a part of me that get’s weak when it comes to:
lamps
christmas lights
mirrors
&
gel pens (preferably Pilot G-2)

It’s kind of fun to pretend your making a “prop” for a big ole movie when your really not. Your just making it for YOUR movie, the movie of your life. (hahaha)

Ingredients:

You will also need a old chandelier and spray paint.

We bought this at a garage sell prolly 2 years ago. It’s been sitting in our shed just screaming to get redone!

We used a pretty purple color for our best friend Taunt C. She just passed away and that was her favorite color. Plus every time we look at it, it will remind us of her!

I bought those little packs of mirrors at Michael’s Art’s and Crafts. They are pretty cheap, maybe 1.50 for a pack but you get about 15 mirrors in the pack. You can get tons of different size circles and squares. Keep in mind every chandelier will look different than the one I am using.I thought putting some on the bottom base would add a nice touch to it! I used E-6000.  You can use it on
Glass / Rhinestone
Clay Pottery / Rocks / Sea Shells
Beads / Fabric
Ceramic / Wood
Glass / Metal

It’s really something you should ALWAYS keep around.

Remember my tutorial on “strings of mirror’s“? If not check it out. I made these babies the same way  I made those. You just put glue on one circle, put clear string over it and place another circle on top of that. Then let it dry. You can decide how many circles or squares you want to use depending on the size of your chandelier.

Once you get all of your little strings of mirrors done, just start putting them all over! You can hang them at different lengths. I like to stay “consistent” so it looks even.

I hope you enjoy this fun tutorial and leave in the comment section what you think of the movie if you saw it! Could you totally see this in your house! I put it outside because when the sun hits the mirror’s, it makes millions of amazing, fun reflections EVERYWHERE! It’s like stars in the daytime shining!

I wanted to share with you my exact spot I wrote this blog post! Right under my
Mirror Chandelier!

Wanna see how I hung this HUGE window? Make sure and come back tomorrow to check it out! See you in the next post!
