Holy Easy Polka Dot Pillow Extravaganza! It’s MLK today and I am sitting at my computer suffering from a terrible abscess in my mouth. Rad right! Thanks to my doc I am all fixed up so I don’t feel any pain! I had a pretty quiet weekend and I honestly think my body needed it. I have been going from one thing to the next for the past few months and it felt really good to just chill out.

We have a few projects going on at home and don’t you worry I will be sharing them on here this week. I am painting our fireplace that is already painted so I am sorta excited to see the end results! It’s already painted a light sage green which isn’t that bad but I want a crisp clean whiten fireplace. Every room in the house is now white which is great because it allows the room to feel open and everything in the room pops! Don’t worry I might change my mind next week, that is usually how I roll!

Also we are adding another room onto the back of our house so I can’t wait to show you the things we are doing to that space! I have been wanting to do some polka dot leather pillows for a while now but since I have been so busy with the holidays I could never tackle this project. It’s an easy project but very tedious.  Don’t forget to check out my STUDIO TOUR! Also I was unable to attend CHA this year but yesterday I received a HUGE box filled with goodies from Fave Crafts so I will be posting about all of the items in there!

…now let’s get to the nitty gritty

Easy Polka Dot Pillow

You will need: Fabric Pillow Cases | Fabric Fusion | Leather | Scissors

You can purchase all of the items I used by clicking on the links! They are affiliate links so by ordering from me you are helping support my GLITTER habit! XOXO
how to make pillows

Step 1: Get a sheet of fabric fusion and peel off one side. This stuff is seriously amazing! If you do not like to sew you can use this product and it works so good!no sew pillow cases

Step 2: Place the sticky side down onto the back side of your leather. leather crafts

Step 3: Get a stencil of circles, I am using my favorite which is by Stencil 1. Order it here. If you don’t have access to a stencil you can find something round use that to trace around. stencil 1 stencil

Step 4: Place your stencil on top of the fabric fusion and trace out your circles with a sharpie.

Step 5: This is what it will look like once you are done. I used a pen instead of a sharpie. how to cut leather

Step 6: Once you are done tracing carefully cut out each circle! Have fun with this part! heheleather circles

Step 7: Peel off the white sheet on the back of the leather circles and place them where you want on the pillows. I didn’t measure mine out with a ruler I just eyeballed it.

Love you all my little craft bugs! Huge bursts of happy energy sent from me to YOU right through this screen! I hope this post allows your imagination to go bonkers and you create loads of leather goodies! See you in the next post.

Happy Monday Jaderbugs!!! Lately I have been on a pom pom phase and I am honestly not quite sure why. So today I will be showing you how to make a Pom Pom Mirror.

Maybe it’s because when I pull out the craft supplies I used as a kid it makes me feel super giddy inside. The other night I posted a picture of some pom pom’s and asked my followers what was the first thing they thought of when they looked at them.  I was quite shocked at the responses and I just have to share them with you.  Here are some!
* Star Trek….tribbles
* Pom-poms on the back of ankle socks … “Booties”
* Sesame Street
* Will Farrell eating cotton balls in elf
* I spilled my craft supplies again
* Clowns
* Getting me a pair of white Keds and hot gluing these to them
* Kindergarten
* Craft projects
* Popples! Now that’s ole school!

These are just SOME of the responses and I loved all of them! This DIY is super easy and anyone can do them. Let’s get started!

Pom Pom Mirror

You need a few ingredients for this DIY.
* Colorful Pom Poms
* Old Mirror
* Hot Glue Gun
colorful pom poms

The good news is at the craft stores you can buy these pons pons in bags of rainbow colors or you can get plain colors, depending on the look and style you are going with! pom pom mirror

Are you freaking in love yet. Now I totally get that not EVERYONE will love this but I do and that is all that matters. You could do one with all white pom pons and you would be surprised at how soft and elegant it would look!

On another note, kids love pom poms and I promise you kids will LOVE doing this DIY!diy mirror

I hope you enjoyed this quick and easy tutorial. Stay tuned, tomorrow I will be sharing a super unique tutorial for you. All I will say is there will be LEATHER!!!

See you in the next post!

Today is the day before the NEW YEAR! I am all about being organized and aren’t we all a little unorganized around this time of the year. I gathered up my top 20 Free Printable Calendars – 2015 and put them in one hot spot, my blog. The best part is you can print them from any computer and dress up your space while organizing your life. All you have to do is click on the highlighted link below the picture and BAM, it’s all in YO hands at that point.

My favorite thing to do is download one month from each set and really have fun with your year. ENJOY and SHARE! Another fun thing you can do is print a set out and give to a friend or family member. Super fun and much better than a store bought calendar. Also keep in mind someone special created these for us to have so if you choose a calendar make sure to follow that blogger and give them some love! HAPPY NEW YEAR!

*You can find my crazy self at CHA next week! I am super excited to see all ofmy crafty friends!!!

*Make sure to come back later this week to find out where I went a few weeks ago. Trust me you don’t want to miss this one!

Today we will close our eyes and make Rainbow Glass Jars, you know the ones that are made for fairies… What! You are not one? Good news for ya, the yumminess in these jars will turn you into one as soon as you sprinkle it on you.

Ok fine all that will happen if you dump this load of glitter on you is a hot dam mess on the floor. Let’s not forget your precious hair, yes it will be full of glitter. I used tinsel glitter for this lil project so you really are doomed. Unless you are like me and you wouldn’t mine glistening in the sun like Edward Cullen did daily. If you like all that glitters, then check out all of my rainbow crafts.

…now let’s get to the nitty gritty

Rainbow Glass Jars

What You’ll Need (You can purchase all of the items I used in this post by clicking on the links below. These are affiliate links so ordering from them helps me buy more glitter and glue)

*Hot Glue Gun
*Slices of Wood
*Mini Glass Jars
*Glitter
*Ribbon (Make sure it’s thin)
rainbow glass jars

I bought a little bag of sliced birch wood at Michaels. They are so dang precious I didn’t even want to use them for this post! FYI: they were only 2 bucks a bag. Now say that 6 times really fast!birch wood

These are all of the colors I used for this post, well minus black. martha stewart rainbow glitter

Step One: Fill your glass jars with glitter. It’s your choice to fill them all the way or half way. I like leaving room for them to float around a little.

Step Two: With the bottle up right put a little hot glue around the rim and then carefully place your piece of wood right on top. Hold it in place for a few seconds until the glue is dry. VOILA!

Step Three: on the opposite side of the wood put a dot of glue then place your ribbon “good side down” right on top. birch wood craftsStep Four: Tie the ends of your ribbon together. You just created a hanger on your fun glitter jar. diy christmas ornaments

I am absolutely in LOVE ♥glass glitter jars

Sequins, Ornaments & Coffee. I am not sure which one I love more which is why I usually combine the three together. It would be nice if coffee cream came in some sorta glitter form that dissolved slowly while sipping away. I mean I somehow find glitter and sequins hibernating in all corners of my house and studio so I just dust around them. Not really but that gives me a few ideas. Come see how I glittered candle jars, totally perfect for that last minute Christmas present.

*Sequined floors (I am sure resin would love to live on top of that)… I literally googled this and found NOTHING. That my dear is pretty disappointing. Which means something drastic needs to happen ASAP. Stay tuned.

*Sequined walls (Maybe just one accent wall, right?) I did find this tutorial which makes me feel super giddy inside. This could work.

You get the hint. Sequins for life. I recently did a post for I Love to Create and I felt my inner Liberace come out. I did have the new Lorde soundtrack playing so I am not sure if I am living in two different worlds but either way it worked. Click on the link at the bottom to get to the full tutorial.
glitter ornamentsThese are also the perfect gift for that ornament exchange party you will are going to! What? You have no idea what this means? Get a group together and everyone make a homemade ornament then everyone gets a pretty freaking cool homemade gift. You will have two choices at that point to actually put it up on your tree or “re-gift” it, haha!  sequin ornaments
