Happy almost Easter! I think my favorite thing about Easter is decorating eggs. I dont know why but each year I try to push myself to create fun and crazy egg decor. Wanna know how many different eggs I have decorated this year! Pretty much NONE! I know how can I be a craft blogger and walk with my head high in this moment.

I should walk with SHAME! With my non egg decorating self. Well off to bigger and better things, which is showing off crafts that other bloggers created. You know, the ones that walk around proud of how many different types of easy easter crafts they created. BOOYAH! You just made my day a whole lot easier. Seriously Y’all. Today I will show you how to Dye Easter Eggs, just wait —–> Not just eggs but Tie-Dyed Eggs. I am totally obsessed with tie-dye. You would think I am a born again 15 year old who’s parents traveled in a camper and lived for ~~Woodstock or just~~ wood. Wait, they did.

Ya know this craft is perfect for grown adults (who simply are finding anything to bring them back to their younger years,yo) or itty bitty kiddos. You could kill 2 birds with 1 stone and do them WITH your kiddos!

So I write for I Love to Create, twice a month and I get to actually do FUN stuff like this for my JOBBBY JOB! I know. You are totally shaking your head right now saying “ughhhh I wanna dye eggs and listen to loud music all day”… TRUST, it took me a long time and lot’s of hard work to get this egg dying job. Check out all of my crafts that I have made for them.

My fur child got jealous when I was making these eggs and just begged for some tie-dye on her pure white fur. Don’t worry it’s all NON TOXIC! That alone rocks!

Today’s post is super sassy and fun! Come on, it’s EGG CANDLES. I will show you how to transform boring eggs in your fridge into a great centerpiece for your table. You can even use them individually if you choose too! Did I mention they smell DELICIOUS!

I bought my blocks of wax from Wal-Mart. Completely affordable!

Take your ice pick and lightly crack a piece of the egg. Then you can start peeling the egg to create a hole at the top.

This is what they will look like when done.

Make sure to rinse out the egg completely. We want to get rid of any egg smell.

I used my burner to melt my wax. If you have a ceramic dish you can do it in the microwave but please be careful. It can get really hot. If you decide to do it in the microwave make sure you do it for a minute, stir it then continue doing that until it is completely melted.

I filled a pretty antique dish with moss that I bought from Hobby Lobby.

Next, lay out your eggs in the moss.

Gently place your wicks in the eggs.

Then start pouring your wax. I used a plastic spoon, it works really good. Once you fill them all up let them sit for a few hours to harden. Trim the wick with scissors and voila!

There you have it. A cute arrangement for any space. Just remember if you make them in different scents that when you light them they might not smell great mixed together. I recommend doing them in one scent if you plan on lighting multiple eggs at a time. I hope you enjoyed this post, see you in the next one Jaderbugs!
