Happy Saturday Jaderbugs.
I am living a crazy hectic life lately. You know how that is right? Ton’s of deadlines, people ordering you around and crying because you just can’t do it all. Oh, you don’t know what I am talking about? Paahaha

I am sure that sounds very familiar to all of ya. I have a ton of new tutorials going up on the blog this week I even have a video tutorial and a Fall Haul video. Did I mention a THOUSAND other deadlines. Do you ever wish you had another you to help out? I do, and she would wear turtlenecks, pencil skirts, fish net stockings and high heels every single day. She wouldn’t drink Dr. Pepper everyday, eat Christmas cakes or stay up late. She would prolly have a house that was all painted (inside) vintage white and she would have a maid. Sheesh I can’t forget an assistant. That’s right. My other “me” would have an assistant. Hey nobody said it isn’t fun to dream.

Today I wanted to share with you some things that can brighten up your day or just your life. NEON. No matter what kinda day your are having, just slap on some neon and BAM. Just like that you will feel better. Plus the good thing about NEON is it really makes you look darker. Even if you have pale skin it’s like an instant snooki tan. Well maybe not a snooki tan, I don’t want you to look orange.
I hope you enjoy these amazing things I wanted to share with you.

TOP 5 FALL SCENTS

Quote of the day:
“Go out and fight so life shouldn’t be printed on dollar bills.” – Clifford Odets

Happy second of the month. I can’t believe OCTOBER is already over, can you? It went pretty fast this year but that’s ok because this means we are that much closer to the Christmas holidays. For me, this means Christmas started yesterday. Yep, I get to start all of my awesome Christmas crafts NOW for YOU… So put on your Santa gear and grab your sleigh mobile license because we are about to take off in Jaderbomb winter wonderland.

I wanted to share with you some of my all time favorite TOP 5 FALL SCENTS . I have a variety in today’s post that range in price which is nice if you don’t want to spend too much money on sprays for your home, or whatever space!

Did I mention these are my FAVORITE? Ask my seester, I am a SPRAY addict. I get super excited for bottles of crazy chemicals that I can hardly pronounce but more than happy to spray all over my house. HAHA

So, below are all of them together. You can click on the links and order them strait from one site if you like! What can I say. I’m here to make your life easy I tell ya.

I especially love when my favorite scents come in {{fannnn cyyyy}} bottles.

Tyler Room Spray Chambre Parfum in DIVA

These are around 11.99 and it smells wonderful. I would say this is affordable and it will smell your house like nothing you have ever smelled before. I have EVERYTHING in this scent including the washing liquid for my bath sheets and towels. YUMMERS!
Here are some reviews or this particular smell.

Orleans Room Spray
in French Quarter

This room spray is around 7 bucks. Just in case you think this is a lot of money for a room spray, I want you to know that it takes very little to smell a whole house. I like to spray it in my main vent and next thing I know it’s all over. My dad always picks these up for me…. I should of told him I LOVED diva a little more, hehe. This is also a great name brand. Usually I am not all about the name but they definitely give you a bang for your buck!

Click here to read reviews on this scent.

Febreze Air Effects Apple Spice & Delight Air Freshen

Febreze Limited Edition Pumpkin Harvest & Fall

I’m not too sure where I should start with Febreze. Me and seester are always competing to see who can find “Limited” scents and I usually fail. LOL
I have noticed when I use these sprays the smell does not last as long. Don’t let that fool you because they do smell great and last a while just NOT as long as I would like. I might take a picture in a later post of my ENTIRE collection of room sprays. OK that’s making me nervous, time to move on. HAHA

Mrs. Meyers Clean Day Room Freshener

I am really going to rave about this stuff because although I am in love with MANY sprays this one always makes me happy. I believe deep down I love it more because it’s not bad for my family and it’s 94% natural. I keep this particular one in every single room because lemon always wipes away any smell that might be bothering you. Even if there is no smell it adds that pure, clean, crisp smell to a room.  If you ever get this make sure to get the hand soap also. Totally worth the buck! Check out ALL of these products.

I wanted to end this post with two pictures that I absolutely am in love with today. My dad always brings us bags and bags of oranges from a tree and I always love the way a fresh batch looks in this bowl. You know if you stick cloves into an orange it will smell your house also! I usually take orange peelings, cloves, cinnamon and burn it on the stove in a little bit of water. It’s like heaven in your nostrils. Pinky promise.

I had to end with this distressed wooden sign I made. I have a load about to go up in my etsy shop which you can find here.

It says it all, right! No matter who or what you encounter…smile…bring the white light into your body…and carry on. I usually play my theme song when I am in a situation and it makes me feel great. I mean, you can even add some special effects to your situation like pretending you are walking in slow motion, a wind machine and a spot light (maybe even a fog machine). Just saying.

I guess now you know my secret. It’s ok because it’s worth sharing.

I hope you enjoyed this tutorial, see ya in the next post!

Quote of the day:

Heller and HAPPY “hump” day

YEP! It’s that time. Time to start showing you the tutorials of some things in my FALL kitchen decor. If you didn’t see my FALL decor I did in my kitchen click HERE to check it out!

I always have fun making displays in our house, it’s like making a p-nut butter n nutella sandwich. It just mandatory. Let’s get it popping Jaderbugs

INGREDIENTS for this CRAFT:

*candle holder (I am using one I already had)
*masking tape
*Martha Stewart satin craft paint
*Martha Stewart stencils
*Martha Stewart craft brush
*Martha Stewart adhesive spray

and LOTSA LOVE…

You can use whatever stencils you prefer for this project. I wanted to use some sorta blossom to represent fall. These stencils are the best because they have an adhesive back to them which makes it so much easier to apply to different surfaces.

First thing you will do is tape off the spots where you do NOT want paint. I am doing horizontal stripes on my candle holder.

After you tape it off paint the sections that are showing. I’m using “BROWN CHICKEN BROWN COWWWW” red. That’s not really the color but it should be! (say that saying about 4 times in a row)

This is what it will look like when you are done painting. Let it dry. When it is completely dry gently peel off the masking tape.

Grab the stencil you like, spray the back with adhesive spray and STICK it down! Even thought the back has a little adhesive to it already I like to add more so it “really stays!

Get a brush and lightly pounce the stencil with paint. You could use a foam pouncer for this but I like the texture from a brush.

When you are done filling in your stencil BOOM BAM WOW! Your done! Of course “LET IT DRY” before you start decorating with it.

I hope you had a B to the LAST with this project. I can’t wait to see you in the next post!

What colors would you use for this project?

There is nothing better than a fun fall mantle to dazzle up your home. I personally love taking advantage (badly) of every single holiday or special occasion. Check out what I made with things I already had laying around the house!

Happy FALL YALL! I am finally showing you my shelf that I decorated in the kitchen for the Fall holidays. I’ve been showing little tid bits of different projects on Facebook and Instagram so I am excited to be done with this shelf. Fun part will be getting in the attic and decorating the rest of our house!

Monday is almost over and guess what? That means we are are closer to the weekend! Sometimes I find myself counting down the day’s till the weekend. I mean what’s so bad about the week? I think it’s because of work. (haahaa)

I’ve been seeing a lot of Fall decor lately so I figured I would follow the trend. I mean it is FALL YALL! There is only ONE problem with Fall. I am not a huge fan of all the “traditional” Fall colors. EEEK. Did I just say that? When I was growing up our house was always decorated, especially for the holidays. For some reason I only remember my mom decorating in the “traditional” Fall colors, which was really pretty but a little boring to a bright and whimsical girl like me. I swoon over FALL colors every time I see them but I just can’t do it. I mean, look at my kitchen wall color. It’s turquoise. I also added some rustic stars, vintage jars, a vintage “yellow” can and some vintage gas station numbers to my  kitchen decor.

Let take a look at what FALL look’s like in my head…

I am loving red and orange together lately! Check out the candle holder here.

I was totally inspired by my [friend] Stephen with this. Stephen is one of the judges on TLC’S craft wars and he does ton’s of this in his new book “Glitterville’s Handmade Halloween”. Trust me you NEED this book! Buy it here.  I think the black and white make everything else in my kitchen POP. I painted on real wood so it feels warm and cozy when I look at them. (tutorial coming this week)

I love my homemade vases because you can actually add water in them! I will be posting a tutorial this week on how I made them.  I can’t even express how inexpensive this craft is. When I think of Fall I think of natural things. Paper feels natural to me and that is why I used this on my shelf.

What else SCREAM’S FALL like mini flags with mini clothespins! Again I went with natural colors here since I have ton’s of other things bursting with color. I used black and white bakers twine to go along with my black and white FALL theme. You can order mini clothespins in my ETSY shop.

I am loving this print I made the other day. Yes it’s a silk screen. Yes I made it at my house. Yes you can too. Stay tuned for this tutorial because all I will say is you will be purchasing the machine I made it with!

This is a mirror I made a while back but I thought the black and white went with my theme. See the tutorial here.  If you follow my blog then you already know my LOVE for black and white. I think I love it because it allows me to add POP’S of color all over! Remember my bedroom walls and my napkin flags?

How could a live plant not feel like FALL! The fresh green just makes me smile plus it adds good energy in the house!

The rest of the week I will show you tutorial’s on everything I made for my kitchen decor so make sure and come back!

Huge Glittery Hugs, Jade

I am so happy that it’s finally Friday! Are you?

Quote of the day:
“Real success is simply being able to put in a good day’s work…and then go to sleep knowing that you have not–and will not–cause anything wrong to happen to anyone else.”
-Charles Forte

This week felt like it had big bright wings on it and flew right past me. I did have a lil cold this week…ok a BIG cold but I am getting much better and I think today’s fun free printable will show you that. I showed Ashy this last night and she loved it. When she loves something I create I know it’s good, haha.

With Fall heading our way I wanted to do these fun antique blue mason jar printables. These always remind me of Fall. Maybe it’s because in my head I visualize yummy strawberry preserves in them, the windows open (cool air), toast in the toaster and the Garden State soundtrack playing in the background.
Now are you feeling that Fall feeling in your bones?

The fun thing about this printable is that you can print it out and use it to write notes on, write a love letter or put your boring reminders on them.
Good news is your reminders will look pretty.

I made 4 different color’s for you and I think you will love them. Make sure and tell your friends about my site because I have lot’s of fun printable’s coming up!

You can also print these out on photo paper, write a note on it and frame it in your house. It’s little things like this that that make your home feel cozy. Print it out and write a note to someone. Yes, I mean the old school way (through the mail). You can make it smaller if you want also! Print out ton’s of them and make your own notebook! When you print it out depending on your printers setting’s you might have to trim some of your edges just a little bit. I do this every single time so I have just the actual image. Wanna see my printable in action?

HOW FUN IS THAT!
