Happy Saturday YALL!
It’s such a pretty day outside. The windows are open. The birds are singing. The radio is blasting. I’m baking. Making easter baskets.
Pretty much loving every second of every second! (whatever that means) haha

I had to share this craft with you because EVERYONE loves rice krispy treats {{{right}}}
BUT EASTER EGG KRISPIES ARE EVEN BETTER!!!

You will need :

  • 3 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 1 package (10 oz., about 40) regular marshmallows
  • OR
  • 4 cups miniature marshmallows
  • 6 cups Kellogg’s® Rice Krispies cereal
  • OR
  • 6 cups Kellogg’s® Cocoa Krispies cereal
  •  and lot’s of LOVE
    How To:

    1. In large saucepan melt butter over low heat. Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted. Remove from heat.
    2. Add KELLOGG’S RICE KRISPIES cereal. Stir until well coated.OH I forgot to tell you. I used Cocoa Krispies instead of the plain ones!!!! If you have not tried doing this you are TOTALLY missing out!!! Here is a perfect excuse to make a big batch!!!

You will need some plastic eggs.

After you let your mixture cool off a little bit stuff a little bit in each end. You do not have to fill it up at this point. When it’s closed it will fill up the whole egg. I like to spray some pam in my hands before handling the mixture. It makes it so much easier and it will not stick to you!

Tadahhhh! Can you imagine the look on someone’s face when they open a plastic egg (thinking there will be like… candy in it) and they find THIS! It will be a picture perfect moment!!!!

Well gotta run. I have ALOT more to do today! But stay tuned later on because I have a SUPER FUN “night time” egg craft for ya!
Sending you virtual rice krispy treat eggs to eat for the next month,

Hey y’all!! Happy GOOD FRIDAY!!!
I am not quite sure how I am actually typing right now because I ate SO much crawfish today my fingers are FULL….I could just feel my stomach expanding as I slowly swallowed each and every yummy crawfish!

It’s almost Easter time and you know my motto “it’s never too late to get it done”… If you want to spice up some plastic eggs for your Easter table then get this craft done ASAP! Just don’t accidentally EAT one!!! ((haha))

You want to start by getting some PERFECT PLASTIC  eggs. I think these babies are around 2 dollors a bag!

I used four main ingredients for this project.
1.Mod Podge  (I get this from Michael’s Arts and Crafts) I brush the Mod Podge on the egg then sprinkle glitter so it dries on there!
2. Martha Stewart Glitter  (Just incase you have NEVER used this glitter now is the time! You will fall in love)
3.  Martha Stewart glitter glue set
4.  Martha Stewart brushes

These nuggets are amazing!

I tell ya, these look so good I just want to take a bite out of one!

I hope everyone is STILL enjoying this wonderful FRIDAY night! Enjoy your “EASTER” weekend and come back tomorrow for MORE EASTER fun!
