Hey everyone! I am just getting back from the most amazing trip ever and I wanted to share this tutorial with you on making Color Blocked Gold Bracelets . I will be sharing more about the my trip later this week so make sure to come back and check it out!
If you are like me then you can sometimes be cheap! Very cheap!
I personally call it being “smart”, right. I found a set of gold bracelets a while back at Old Navy and bought them. Check out what I was REALLY doing there when I found them. I wasn’t sure exactly what I would do with them but I knew I would figure it out and it would be RAD. If you like gold check out this cute gold flag banner I made for a cake.
I finally decided I wanted to add a splash of color to them. Finger nail polish is the best thing to apply to metal because it stays on for a LONG time. Let’s get started.
How beautiful are these bracelets. I knew they would be a hit on my vacation and now I am madly in love with them. I think I need about 10 more on my wrist.
You will need:
1. Nail Polish
2. Gold Bracelets or Gold Chain
I am using Covergirl outlast stay brilliant nail polish. I am in love with all of their colors and they fit perfectly with my smile!
If you want to purchase all of the colors from one spot make sure to click my affiliate links below! The colors I am using in this post are:
1. Mint Mojito 285
2. Snow Storm 110
3. Go-Go Mango 245
4. Salt Water Taffy (not sure of number)
Step 1: Lay out your gold bracelet on a clean surface and coat one side with nail polish.
Move on to the next one and remember to coat one side at a time. It doesn’t take too long for the polish to dry. In 10 minutes you can flip it over and do the other side. I like to do about 2 good coats of each color. My goal is to give it a matte finish.
You can see below how it will look if you only do one side of the bracelet. Depending on the links I would decide if I wanted to do both sides on some of them.
One tip I have when storing bracelets is to sling them over the top of a really cool jar. You can find these at garage sales or vintage stores. Plus it looks really pretty.
I hope you enjoyed this tutorial and you tell all of your friends about it…. NOW GO COLOR BLOCK!

Can you see yourself doing any of these, if so which ones?
I don’t know about you but if you add glitter to anything you will put an instant smile on my face. Today we will be making Glitter Dishes!
I started playing around with paper plates a few weeks ago creating a few easy ways to “dress” them up. I think I was successful with it, what do you think?! I mean, I truthfully hate washing dishes and putting them up so why not serve anyone out of fancy paper plates. It’s not like I am having Christmas at my house but if I did I would lay all these babies out!
Check out these I made with ribbon and these with lace!
*Paper Plates and Bowls * Glitter *Brush *Mod-Podge *LOVE
The first thing you want to do is coat your paper plate with Mod Podge.
You want to work a little fast since Mod Podge dries very quick.
Sprinkle glitter over the wet Mod Podge. Don’t worry if it’s not perfect because after all it’s just going to be used as decoration. Did I mention you will throw it away after it’s used!
I coated the underneath of the bowl just to add a little more love.
It’s seriously that simple! Fun thing is you can make them for every holiday and it will not break the bank.
What will you use your glittered bowls for?
Today I will show you how to make a 2 Tier Party Platter. It’s really simple and did I mention you can toss it when you are done using it!
Yep today we will use paper plates (sturdy ones) for this project.
I don’t know about you but I like an easy clean up after a day full of chaos so this works perfectly. Let’s get started.
*Paper Plates * Fabric Lace * Hot Glue Gun * Empty glass bottle
Put some hot glue under the bottom of the glass bottle. If you don’t have hot glue you can use E600.
Gently place the glass bottle down onto the large paper plate, directly in the center.
Gently hold it there for a few minutes to make sure it dries completely.
Get a small paper bowl and glue it to the top of the glass bottle. Hold until secure!
How stinking cute is this.
Things you can use this for:
*Put candy in for a holiday party
*Use as a makeup holder
*Keep in a space to throw your keys in and change
The possibilities are endless really. The best thing is it’s affordable and you can toss it if it get’s dirty and nasty.
What will you use your’s for?
Today I will show you how to Decorate Paper Bags.
Well from what I gather it is almost Halloween around this joint. This means I get to display my favorite color everywhere in the house! Black that is.
I have to admit being the “DIY’ER” that I am sometimes crafts come to me and I just quickly make them. If they are good then they get posted. No lie, this was not planned but I just think it’s practical and can be used for many things in your life.
Sometimes I go through a period of doing fairly simple tutorials and then I do really complicated ones that require ton’s of pictures. Not sure why I do that but I do.
This one would surely fall under EASY!
Have you seen my Halloween Coffee Party yet?
What about my Vintage Crow Magazine Holder!
It is honestly a craft that you would add your own imagination too so have fun with it. I made a quick video for you also.
