Getting to the CENTER of my UNIVERSE

Sometimes I allow myself to go to places {{not really physically}} that I never have been before. Most of the time they are places “within”. Why am I sharing this with you? Well, I really don’t know. I guess I have finally found a place “inside” that feels great! Countless years I wasted on people, places and things. I had the wrong vision of what life should be like. The simplest things on earth never seemed to satisfy me. This is prolly due to growing up being very materialistic. I think that is sorta normal with most kids, however looking back now… I was over the top. I honestly would not trade all the bad spots in my life for anything. I actually thank the universe every second I can for those moments. Ya know why? Because NOW what I have in my life is unexplainable. It’s like that star you see every night. It’s so close but yet so far. With a little faith and trust, you can touch it. If you are lucky you can grab it and tuck it away safely in your heart. I grabbed my star(s) and they complete my entire world. The last 8 years have been the best I have ever experienced. I grew in so many ways. I found out who I am. What makes ME happy. What is UNHEALTHY and what is just plain ole AWESOME. I have had many things break my heart. Many disappointments. I’ve grown apart from family members, lost what I thought was “good” friends and I am still alive. Actually, I think I was dead then. Living to everyone else’s standards. Being who “they” wanted me to be. Then I woke up. This was hard, but I woke up. In the end, that is what counts.. to me. I learned that people, places and things don’t complete me. I COMPLETE ME. I love myself and the people in my life. Shoots, I even love and pray for the people that are NO LONGER in my life. Cause ya know people, it’s ok that some relationships didn’t work out. You can still remember the good in them, right?!?!?!? Plus, it feels better. No one has to know who you are praying for or in fact thinking about except you. But just remember that these things that are “gone” from your life does not mean anything except they are gone. AND IT’S OK!

Make a No Sew Apron

Happy Memorial Day!!! Today is about everyone who has put their life on the line for “everyone” else. I salute you

Today we will be making a homemade APRON!!!

I have to totally admit that I did this craft allllll the way back in december. Yeah, you heard that right. DECEMBER!

I forgot about it. Ironically I am not able to craft at the moment due to beautiful circumstances however I have something for you….

SO, thank you UNIVERSE for letting me “forget” about this craft!!!

p.s. i didn’t put exact measurements because i didn’t use them. i mean my sides are even but i put the fabric up in front of me to see how big or small the entire front needed to be. you can do the same thing. oh btw. you want to the the webbing on all 4 sides of your first piece of fabric.

p.s. when i say {about} i really mean about. because if you want your tie strap to be wider then it will maybe be like 5″.. ya see.!

p.s. this step might look hard but it’s really easy!! the reason we are doing this is to make the edges have a crisp finish to them!!

p.s. we are getting to the fun stuff!

p.s. remember. this second color of fabric i am using is going to be my pocket on the outside. you can decide just how large you want it.

p.s. SEE!!! You can do it! The cool part is… NO SEWING MACHINE.

1. If you could choose a super power, what would it be?
Wellll… This one is tricky because I would want to be a little selfish right here and pick like a billion super powers… But just so I can stay on the right track of this party I will pretend all off the powers go “together” … {{heheh}} My first super power would be… INVISIBILITY, right! {but still have the ability to move things or touch things}, oh how much fun I would have. The second super power would have to be {{ummm}} to be able to go back in time. I have always wanted to see certain things and meet certain people.
Third power.. to provide however, whenever and whatever I wanted at any given time….

2. What would be your frivolous purchase if you were awarded a
million dollars, tomorrow?
I have to say this is quite hard. I mean, it would have to sorta have no important meaning so….. in this crazy chaotic world, what is a gurl to do? Ok, seriously I would have to buy a glass house. I am so private with my life {can yuh believe that}, really tho I am. It might seem like I tell ALOT on my blog or let you in ALOT, but truth is….Whatever I put on my blog is things I don’t really care if a stranger reads or someone that knows me. I have always wanted to have a glass house maybe to force me to “open” up. Good thing this is a {game}question because I’m not ready to clean that many windows yet 🙂
OH and with the glass house it would come with new decor 🙂

3. What would be the hardest current luxury for you to give up?
SO SIMPLE! Anything electronic!!! I mean, when I say electronic, let me just say ELECTRICITY.. How bout that one!

4. If you were given a choice between being given great wisdom and great wealth, which would you choose?
Well, believe it or not… This is VERY easy for me! I would without a doubt choose WISDOM.
Ya know, with wisdom you could do anything. You will have the brains to start any business, have common sense and just be plain ole smart. So in the end wisdom will give me wealth. But the good news is I already have wisdom 🙂 SO COME ON WEALTH!!!!

5. If you were to be stranded on a deserted island for 100 days what 5 things would you pack?
Wow, could not be a better question!!!
1. Water
2. My Camera {one that did not need batteries or electricity to charge it}
3. My immediate Family
4. Shelter
5. Laptop
{{I want to add one more thing}}
6. Clothing
{{awe crap, I have one more… SRY}}
7. TV (with cable)
Hey, I wonder if I can pick the island I will be deserted on….. OK FINE!!!

Homemade Decorative Balls

OK! So I was NOT gonna post this for many reasons.

1. They didn’t come out like I expected

2. I do NOT have an “end result” picture

and

3. Well I don’t know what 3 is but let’s just say…because they popped without giving me a heads up

(thanks southern humidity for that)

The GOOD news is, this project really IS a great project. Just wasn’t my day for it. I was actually going through some pictures on my puter and found these. I began to delete them and then I was like “wait, what in the heck are you doing”… All that hard work and you are not gonna share with all your blogger friends….I couldn’t do that do ya! So I decided to share and hope that you can ALMOST see the vision I had! I will be doing them again soon, because I know they have great potential and I know what they “will” look like. I just don’t have time for the tedious process at this moment! But I will, don’t you worry little ones.

The good news is, I think I figured out why this project (only in the end) went sour! I should not have left them outside in the heat while they were in the drying process! The heat was too much. I should of brought them inside of the house! SO, little ones when you are doing yours, at the VERY last step, don’t forget to take them out of the heat {{well that is if you are doing them in the heat}}

p.s. see it’s just simple ingredients that you prolly already have!!!

p.s. just simple glue and water!

p.s. i promise they come out awesome!!!

p.s. just imagine these little suckers without the pink balloon in the middle and that is what they look like!!! They are really awesome and they look GREAT in a big bowl or just placed in random spots!!!

Your very own masterpiece

Hey you little bugs!!!! I am totally excited to share this craft with you today! It is sooooooo fun and soooooo easy! When I was little I used to do this on old pieces of wood with “left over” paint. I remember making the coolest colors ever! The only difference now is I can afford to buy colors that I actually (((like)))… My mom painted ALL of the time and I would have to settle for her leftovers. Don’t get me wrong, she usually had cool colors except for the BROWNS ( never was my style )… Anyways the other day I was thinking about crafts I used to do and this popped in ma head! SO you will get to do it with me AGAIN!!!

I went in my studio and found some of my favorite colors. I LOVE LOVE LOVE black. Not really sure why but I do. I think black adds a sense of “this is who I am” to anything. I mean don’t you remember as a child coloring in a coloring book? The pictures were always outlined with that HUGE black outline. That was kinda my favorite part 🙂

Just thought I would share that with ya!

Ingredients:

Paint (anykind will do)

paper

imagination

p.s. just get a little frame

p.s. take the paper out that is in it and flip it over ( to the white side)

p.s. get your spoon and scoop up a glob of paint

p.s. let it SLOWLY drip onto your paper

p.s. do the same thing this as many colors as you like! just let the paint drip in different spots!!

p.s. now take your sheet with the paint on it and hold it up on one side and let gravity do it’s work!!! once it starts to fall off of one end turn it the other way…

p.s. as you can see they start to mix together!! i took my spoon when I was almost done and genly slid it through the paint… how awesome!!
