When I look back on this last year I become very emotional. I am so grateful for the opportunities that have come my way. I am so grateful for my family that supports me and this career that just happened. I am so grateful for so many things but mostly YOU. You are the reason I get on the computer each and every day.  I get so much joy knowing that I might make ONE person’s day amazing. That is all I ever wanted.

I hope you and your family had a MEMORABLE day.  I am going decorate the TWO trees in our house, (yes, eeek two) so make sure and come back tomorrow to see some some CHRISTMAS CRAFTS!

Sending you a BIG ole belly full of turkey hug,

Tell your family I said hi and love um!

Happy SUNDAY Jaderbugs! I know everyone is already shopping for Christmas and I figured I would post some really good items that are great to give a loved one. I personally feel so much better giving gifts that I know are biodegradable, natural, therapeutic & made with minimal dyes.

It just feels better ya know? I put some items that will appeal to anyone so enjoy! P.S. Below the pictures are links that will take you directly to the website of the item. Make sure you share this link on your facebook, twitter or pinterest because everyone should shop “GREEN”.

Happy Holidays…

GO GREEN for CHRISTMAS

Quote of the Day

Happy Friday Jaderbugs! I can’t believe the weekend is already here. I made a fun printable for Thanksgiving and Christmas for you. I made it in these three colors since it is the most generic colors for each holiday. If you want to place a special order head on over to my ETSY shop to purchase it. I can create whatever you request, different colored letters, background print, background color and your very own unique saying. I love giving this so someone in a frame for Christmas since I can make it so personal.
You have two choices to get this free printable today. You can click on the picture, save it to your desktop and then print it or you can click on the link right below the picture for the original PDF. I suggest always clicking that link. The quality will be a lot better. This print out is an 8×10.

Quote of the day:
“Actually, I take it as a compliment. Diva is a derivative of divine. That’s quite a title to carry around.”

Happy hump day Jaderbugs! I am kinda proud of myself. It’s not even midnight and I am getting around to tomorrows post. I usually start around midnight and finish in the morning. Way to go me!
So let’s talk about something. It’s almost Thanksgiving. Is it just me or is time flying by? I can’t lie the one thing I am most excited about besides Thanksgiving is BLACK FRIDAY! Do you ever tackle this crazy day/night? Let me just tell you what I do for this event.
I get in CUTE COMFY clothes, go to starbucks to get a coffee (even thought I can make a pot at home), get in my car and go from store to store people watching. Me and Ashy have so much fun doing this. I am sure you are wondering if we buy anything. Nah. That would take the fun out of everything.
I will say this about this event. It’s not that we “enjoy” watching people FIGHT over a blu ray DVD player, camera’s, T.V.’s or candy canes. OK, fine.
We do enjoy it, hehe.
Let’s get to the craft. Today I will show you how to make homemade room spray. I usually buy the ones from the store but I never really like the smells so I decided I would make  my own. Some people use oil’s to make room spray but I wanted to make something that you could actually spray on your bedding, furniture or just in the air. If you are not familiar with the namebrand TYLER then you will flip when you actually smell every scent from this line.
Diva is a really popular scent so that is the scent we are gonna use today.

INGREDIENTS

*Diva Wash
(If you don’t want to buy the big bottle you can always buy the small one for around 7 bucks)
*Spray bottle
*Water

If you don’t notice on the cap it says to “GENTLY” shake. You don’t want to make the mistake I did and REALLY shake it. HAHA

I poured about 2 teaspoons in my empty bottle. Some batches I make a little stronger than others but it’s up to you how strong you want it.

I then filled the bottle with 16 oz of water. When you are done with this step put the cap back on and lightly shake the bottle. I don’t actually shake it but I twirl it in a circle. This keeps it from forming ton’s of suds.

This is what the bottle looks like. I just love the design on it. This little bottle is around 7 bucks and I use it just for room spray. Trust me it lasts forever.

Now you can spray this in every room and get this amazing smell that lasts what seems like forever. A fun thing to do is spray this throughout your house if you know someone is stopping by. They will think you been cleaning for hours! Trust me it works (wink wink).

I really hope you enjoyed this tutorial and make sure to check out all of TYLER’S scents. If you are not sure where they are sold you can usually google it and you should find something. Most candle store and boutiques sell this line.

Come back tomorrow for your DAILY DOSE of DIY

I was given product for this post but all opinions are my own.

Well happy Monday Jaderbugs! I can’t believe it’s 11 pm and I am just getting to write this post.  I could not wait to post this tutorial because I think it’s super cute for this time of year.
The other day I went in the attic to get a “wreath” out and  I realized I had quite a few decorated wreaths. I guess I felt the need for the past 10 years to decorate a wreath and put it in the attic so I can “use” it again the next year. Ehh, no. I don’t think I ever re-used a wreath so I figured I would make a wreath that I can really RE-USE for each season.
Just in case you are wondering I gave the wreath’s to a good home! Let’s get to it.

INGREDIENTS:

*Craft Ring
*Bow
*Burlap
*Glue Gun
*Scissors
*Mini Clothespins
*Stickers

You can click on the links in the “ingredients” to purchase all of the materials in one spot.

The first thing you want to do is cut out strips of burlap. Your craft ring I am using is wooden only because I wanted something that would be really sturdy. Once you are done cutting your strips then you are ready to glue. Slap a little dot of glue down and start wrapping your craft ring. Over lap the burlap just a little bit like below.

This is what is will look like once it is completely wrapped with burlap. If you don’t know how to make a bow you can always buy pre made ones from your local craft store. Hobby Lobby and Michaels always has nice bows. I bought this black and white one from Michael’s, isn’t it so cute.

The good thing about the burlap is you can add different things to it for different occasions without messing it up. All I did to dress mine up was take some stickers, add some hot glue to the back of it then attach it to a mini clothespin. Remember when we overlapped the burlap? This is why. So we can put the clothespins on each little strip of burlap.

Don’t forget you can do this with flowers and ton’s of other things. So awesome.

I love gnomes so I totally took advantage of Martha Stewart’s little gnome stickers.

I hope you enjoyed visiting with me and my gnomes. See you in the next post Jaderbugs.

P.S. I totally thing this needs to be in a magazine, :).

What will you put on your wreath?
