Happy Hump Day! Let me just tell you how crazy my day has been! Last night our heater went out! Thank GOODNESS it was only the coldest night in like forever!!! Then, I turn on my water. You guessed it. Pipes are frozen. By golly gosh I tell ya. All I could do was laugh. Really, I just sat on my kitchen counter laughing hysterically. At what? The fact that is was 30 degrees in my house? OR because my pipes were frozen? Like I said, it was all laughs until I sat down on the sofa and noticed 2 of my little one’s fish died. Did I mention they were the prettiest ones? Poor little suckers {literally}… What else…..OH I realized I did not write yesterday and everyone in the house is sick. The good news is, I am alive!!! (and cold)(and sick)(and my broken foot is hurting so nicely).
Enough about me, how has your hump day been? I hope it has gone a little smoother than mine. Thank GOD (for real) I am still happy as ever! Just wait till you see the craft I am posting today. It will surely make you smile!

P.S. I am using Burlap and a plain white sheet |
P.S. Honestly, I didn’t measure because in this case it really didn’t matter. But depending on how big your curtain rod is will determine how big you need to make the fold. |
P.S. See! Nothing perfect. Just Shabby Chic is all. |
P.S. You want to make sure this measurement is pretty accurate because you will notice it much more. Just sew the end that is not finished (burlap) to the white sheet. Then fold over and iron. |
P.S. After you pin the burlap to the white sheet cut the white sheet. You can pick any type of lace to sepatrate the two different materials.
P.S. How cute for real!!! I also made some fabric flags just for Valentines Day. |
P.S. Just a little something extra for you. These were totally NOT planned but well worth it! They are under my sink. Cutsie Pootsie! |
I hope you enjoyed your hump day post! I had a blast doing them.
xoxo
