Happy Happy Thursday! I could of sworn I just said in a post I can’t wait till Friday. Who would’a thunk it would get here so fast? Surely not me.  I think you know by now I love glitter. I swear, I have inhaled so much in my lifetime I believe it’s running through my veins. How cool would that be if everyone had a different color of glitter inside of them!

I bought this tape dispenser at Target the other day because I truly needed one. I think that is the ONE thing I never bought in my entire life. Can you believe that? Of course it was kinda boring so I figured what better way to “dress” it up!

Have you seen my Mexican Folk art plates? Click HERE to check them out!

INGREDIENTS:

Tape Dispenser
Martha Stewart glittering glue
Martha Stewart glitter
Martha Stewart craft brushes
Martha Stewart glittering tray
Mod Podge
*happy thoughts which will create happy designs
(at least that is what jaderbomb thinks)

What I did first was apply Mod Podge in certain sections with my craft brush then sprinkle glitter on top. I did this step to get my “background” glitter down. The background is the biggest sections on your tape dispenser. Let it dry. Once it is dry I used my glittering glue to draw my designs. The great thing about this glue is the tip. It is tapered so you can really “draw” things accurately with it. I like to do one color of glitter at a time, let it dry then move onto the next design. I did the pink first, then the purple and last my designs incase you were wondering. That’s it Jaderbugs!  I hope you enjoyed this tutorial and I can’t WAIT to see you in the next post!

p.s. I have some fun FALL things coming up so make sure and check back in with #teamjaderbomb

Well howdy hoo, Jaderbugs! Is it really Sunday night already? I couldn’t wait to share this “delish” mexican lasagna recipe with you. I cooked it last week but I am just now getting around to posting it. I posted it online and everyone wanted the recipe so let’s get to it!

Quote of the day: SAY NO ILL OF THE YEAR TILL IT IS PASSED

INGREDIENTS:

2lbs Ground Beef
1 pack of Corn Tortillas
1 can of Rotel
1 small box (16oz) of Velveeta Cheese
2 can’s of Corn
Pinch of Paprika
1 bag of shredded Mexian Cheese
(Large Baking Dish)

Before you start anything put your oven on 350˚.
The first thing you will do is brown your beef. I like to add a pinch of Paprika and any other seasonings at this point. After your meat is completely browned you will add your rotel & corn. Cook this mixture down on high for about 10 minutes. While this is cooking down, dice up your block of velveeta cheese and melt it in the microwave. When your cheese is melted add it to the meat (slowly), corn and rotel then stir completely until it is mixed well. Cook this down on med/high for 10 minutes. Once cooked down you will start putting it together in your baking dish.

You will layer it just like you would a lasagna. Start by putting some of your mixture on the bottom then cover that mixture with corn tortillas. Complete the same steps over again until you reach the top of your baking dish. Finish it off by putting your shredded cheese on top. Bake this with no aluminum foil for 15-20 minutes or until your cheese is completely melted.
And VOILA!!!!

I can’t even find the right words to express how GOOD this is. It’s like pouring glitter and gold in your mouth while spraying your self with Chanel Chance. So you get it, right! It’s that good.

Enjoy this Mexican Lasagna Jaderbugs

See you in the next post.

Quote of the day:
“The race is over, but the work never is done while the power of work remains.” -Oliver Holmes

Happy “had a blast watching football all day” SUNDAY! I will be the first to tell you I am not passionate about football. But Ashy and Lil one have a special bond when it comes to sports. It makes me smile from ear to ear when I see her teaching him everything there is to know about football. I figured out today that I “love” the feel of football. I like my house during football season. It’s cozy, warm and LOUD.  This morning the temperature was cooler than it usually is, which made it feel like Fall.
{time for FALL crafts, hehe}

I wasn’t sure if I was going to post this or not. I didn’t make it from scratch but I figured I might as well share some of the creative things that go on in my head with you. This summer when we remodeled our house I decided to keep some of the “original” drawers. I mean, they were only like 75 years old or older.

They look old. I like that. If you wanted to make it look new you could sand it down and paint it a solid color. We actually put that liner in the drawers when we bought our house 9 years ago. I figured I would keep it to save that memory. I think it’s the cutest and cheapest decor in my house. We actually kept a few other things from the house and I will be posting them soon.

I had to post this picture because it was a moment I had to remember. When we were hanging the drawer on the wall one of our large milk glass bowls fell on the floor.

It broke. It’s ok. I swear.
{insert a crying laugh here}

Happy Saturday Jaderbugs! Ran across this video I made of me and seester a while back. I am working on a fun post which MAY be up later. Hope everyone is having a great day!

Here are some fun things I ran across!

How beautiful is this! Could you imagine getting married using this theme! I could! Check out this site to see more pictures!

I am loving these earrings from catbird. I think anyone could pull them off and you could throw them on with a pair of jeans and a white tee!

I ran across this easy tutorial to make a tutu. Just imagine the colors you could do this with! Check out the tutorial here!

Remember my seester and me here too?

See ya in the next post! Also, you can find me here!

(p.s. before you read this. I wrote it last night, but fell asleep typing)

Happy hump day Jaderbugs. I always feel weird saying that but I also can’t help it. Right?!
This post is gonna be sorta short and sweet (like candy) because I had a full day and I am just getting to my computer! I sorta love day’s like this. You know, those day’s where ALOT get’s done.

Lately I have been “slowing” down a little bit. I can’t lie to you. That is very hard for a person like me as I am sure it is for many of you too! I like to go, go, go. You know how that is right? We tell ourselves there is “never” enough time in the day. What we are doing is telling the UNIVERSE there isn’t enough time and they are giving us exactly that. As a blogger it is sometimes hard to pry my fingers away from ONE of our computers. It’s my job. I have been putting my phone down after 6 pm until EVERYONE is asleep in the house. Then I let my fingers get back to work. Try it! It feels good!

I had so much fun with this mirror. A while back it was white and I painted it this color to spruce it up. I felt it needed just a little bit more! All I did was use paint, brushes, and sponge stamps. You can do whatever colors you like because after all, it’s gonna be your creation…

If you wanna see more of me find me here:

Make sure and send me any pictures you have of your updated WHATEVER!! (hehe)
You never know, I just might feature you on the Jaderbomb blog.
