Ok… I will just jump to the truth. This baby did not turn out like I “though” it would. Is it ugly, NO. Is it pretty, NO. {{paaahahaha}}. It is pretty in person and I think that is what counts. It was fun to make and VERY affordable! I have to say I didn’t think the pinecones would require so much attention. Those babies just kept breaking and breaking!!! It was like “ok, just work with me… do it for Martha”.. Then a couple decided they wanted to work with us! I also used a mason jar because it was a “little” different than what Martha used but I just had to add that Jaderbomb touch!
I would rate this craft as SUPER easy, but you have to get “good” pinecones. They can’t be too dried up because they just crack. I think every pinecone tree around my house had DRY pinecones. {{thanks universe, jj I love you}}
I do NOT think my craft came out as decadent as Martha’s but I still plan on making lot’s more!!
I have some fun and exciting things coming up in the next couple of weeks so you BETTER stay tuned!!!
p.s. Remember how I told you about them breaking so easy! These are my first two babies I got off in one piece! |
p.s. I know it looks messy with all the hot glue strings all over but in the end, once the glitter is on everything it will all be just fine! |
p.s. They may not have turned out as perfect as Martha’s but they sure do make me happy! |
I hope you enjoyed this craft you little Jaderbugs!
sending you lotsa pinecones sticking you all over but making you happy,
jaderbomb
