Happy I am too lazy to wash dishes so I will decorate a paper plate and bowl day!

What? You didn’t know this day existed. Me either until I created these cuties. I love these for the simple fact that they are eco friendly, simple, cute, and affordable.

I say that is a win win situation! Let’s get started.

Decorative Paper Plates Supplies

I love this brand of paper plates. However you can use any type or brand for this project.
Recycled Paper PlatesDecorative Paper Plates and BowlsTo start you will grab your hole puncher and punch holes around the edges of your paper plate or bowl. How to Punch PAPER PLATESThis is what it should look like. You can put the holes close together or far apart. PUNCHED PAPER PLATESCut a few thin strips of fabric. They have to be small enough to go through the holes. HOW TO CUT FABRICDecorative Paper Plates with fabricStart putting the ribbon through the holes. You can go through the holes from the top or the bottom , either way works. Decorative Paper Plates using fabric recycleI like to finish my edges with a bow. It just adds a nice touch to it.diy decor paper platesDecorative Paper Plates with fabric decorHow simply cute is this project! The best part is when your guests are done eating you can just throw everything away.

How will you decorate your bowls and plates?

This is a wonderful idea! I purchased a similar brand paper plate very similar to the Ology brand. They aren’t pretty, but they are really strong and now I know they can be gussied up! Genius.
