p.s. i used a large glue gun! |
|
p.s. the shade can be old or new. i bought this one at a garage sell. $2. really!!!! |
|
p.s. pick what ever colors of beads you like. it does not matter because you will be spraying them with your spray paint. |
|
p.s. on the left is how it will look once you go all the way around the top lid. do the same thing on the bottom rim. when done, spray the entire shade. beads and all <3 |
|
p.s. tadahhh!!! you know you love it. and it’s outside so the world can see it!!!! happy creating xoxo |

Hi…I found you at A Stroll Thru Life and am a new follower. What a great idea to spray paint the whole shade. I have covered them with fabric before…but painting would be WAY easier. Nice to meet you. Stop by my blog when you have time.
Donna: Thanks!!!! I use Photoshop!!!
The Craft Time: The beads are REALLY fun!!! Thanks for dropping in!!!
Marty: Thank YOU!!!!! It was a REALLY fun project! And thanks for having me!!!
Ann: WELL I am soo glad you found me!!!! It is MUCH easier to spray and looks just as good as {paint}… Shhhhh
Your lamp shade looks so pretty now that you've done a makeover with it. I would have never thought of spray painting a lamp shade. I have a couple ugly lamp shades, and I think I'll try this with one of them.
