Happy THANKSGIVING! I sit here and it’s past 1 am in the morning. I contemplated even writing a post only because I am extremely tired however, I get constant LOVE all year long from all of my readers so this is the least I can do.

This past year has been a roller coaster to say the least. Lot’s of major changes went on in my life and there were many days where I didn’t feel like I had anything to be “Thankful” for. Of course just as seasons pass so do moods and feelings. Don’t we all get stagnant at times in our lives, I know I have hit some pretty rough moments where I just felt stuck.

It did however dig really deep into my soul to really pull out everything I could possibly be thankful for. That is what I think we should all do. Is it hard, yes! Can you do it, YES! But you have to surrender everything inside of your soul to truly find beauty in everything around you. Being thankful is a beautiful thing and it’s even more beautiful when you finally realize all you have in your path.

Thanksgiving isn’t just about that one day of the year that your entire family get’s together to eat a grand ole meal and see people that you only see for special occasions. In my eyes this day is about giving thanks to things you have already been giving thanks to.

Some of us don’t have large families that get together. Some of us spend the day alone, because we feel alone. I am not saying any of this is bad but I believe we should reach out to anyone who might feel alone and show them what they have to be thankful for. I will be spending the day with a few people in my family who love me and support me to the depths of my soul. The people who remind me how to be thankful all year long. Just keep in mind there are so many out there who don’t have a family to celebrate this day with. So for me, when you say grace for lunch or dinner please say a prayer for those alone, sad, depressed, angry or lost that they can soon feel love from someone, and possibly enough love to help them recognize what they have to be thankful for.

Take time today to reflect. Jot down some things you might want to work on to become more aware of things in your life that you have to be thankful for. Every morning I wake up and I say thanks to the Universe for allowing me to be on Earth one more beautiful day. Thank you Universe for my healthy body and my hands that are allowing me to type this beautiful message to you tonight. I could go on for days but we ALL have so much to be thankful for. Lord knows I am already thankful for my dads yams tomorrow… hehe

Take a moment to put yourself in someones else’s shoes. Not literally peeps. But seriously you never know the battles others are facing. Is it out job to judge? Is it our job to tell others what we think they should do? NO! It is our job to be understanding and loving. After all, love is the answer. Plus if you trust in the Universe then you will feel safe knowing that all things come to us at the perfect times. We may not know it now but lord knows we will figure it out one day. On another note these shoes are FIRE, right!

Last but not least. I am so THANKFUL for my loving home that I can provide for me and my son. It may not be a mansion but boy I can tell you it is FILLED with so much LOVE! I have an idea this Holiday season. The weather is getting colder and let’s teach kids and adults a loving lesson. Collect old blankets, scarves or sweaters and pass them out to those in homeless shelters or people you might just see on the streets. They will be thankful and in return you will get so much that you will be thankful for. It’s how the Universe works friends. Karma.

I love you all and I would not be here if it were not for YOU! So Happy Thanksgiving from my family to yours!!!!

On to more glittery things. Today I will be showing you how to make unique, fast and kid friendly ornaments. You won’t believe how much fun this project is and I am sure you will use this technique for many other holidays! Let’s get started.

These are the trees I used!

YOU WILL NEED: Parchment Paper | Glue Gun | Glitter

Carefully draw a heart on your parchment paper with your glue gun.

Sprinkle your glitter or confetti as soon as you are done. You do not want your glue to dry for this step!

Let it sit for a minute or two and VOILA! Your one of a kind glitter heart!

YOU WILL NEED: Tulle | Scissors

Wrap the glittery tulle 4 times around your 4 fingers. Carefully pull off fingers.

Tie a knot directly in the middle.

Pass your scissors through each end and CUT! HAHA

Use your fingers to FLUFF it UP and here you have your very own tulle pom pom.

Now you can add all your beautiful ornaments to your tree!

I made these X’s and O’s the same way I did the Hearts!

Ready for me to show you how to feel AWESOME by watching a few videos ♥First let me tell you that today I had an “ok” day. I went to bed last night 100¾% ready for the “BLOOD MOON”. So ready I set my alarm to wake up an experience this amazing event. Usually when spectacular things like this happen I try to make it a spiritual event for myself. So, I wrote down all of my intentions and things I wanted to release then I went to bed. My alarm went off at 2:42 AM and I walked outside – into pure disappointment. Not only was it COLD (WTF Louisiana) but it was also cloudy. Yep you guessed it, the only thing bloody was my blood shot eyes. Out of anger I didn’t go over my list of things and burn it as planned but I convinced myself that I was still cool with the Universe since I wrote it before I went to bed. Right!? Oh these will also make you feel awesome.

♥♥♥ I ran across a few pretty amazing videos today and wanted to share them with you.

The first video brought TEARS to my blood shot eyes and made me feel super happy inside. I think we all struggle with fear. I mean, I do daily especially lately. Fear can sometimes stop me in my tracks and force me to second guess everything in my life, past or present. Anyways. Please watch this video all the way to the end because it’s totally worth it. Grab a cup of JOE in this and it will make you feel warm and cozy while watching these.

It’s about two women, An and Ria who are willing to take a big risk and try something new. They learned how to be free, have fun, share a lifetime experience and feel EMPOWERED with millions of viewers watching. I love how Vodafone is celebrating stories of #Firsts. Surely this video will make you smile and maybe shed a few tears of happiness. After all, aren’t we supposed to always be happy!

The second video literally had me baffled at first just WAITING for the insertion of a joke at any given moment until the end of the video. IT MADE ME SO EMOTIONAL. I’ll blame that on the dang blood moon, k. But seriously let me know how this video made you feel in the comment section below! You will just SHAKE YOUR HEAD when it’s over. I hope this makes your heart smile. I sat down tonight to share it with my son who is almost 14 and he actually got teary eyed….. smiled then hugged me. Insert: BEST FEELING IN THE WORLD

I also ran across this video that made me super uuber full of yummy goodness in my belly and teary eyed at the same time. Why is it when you combine animals in a video that are purely driven by faith its makes us cry. Oh, wait… Am I the only one that cries for stuff like this? The reason I wanted to share this video with you is because it proves to us that no matter what, if the drive inside of us is strong and we have TON’S and dern TON’S of faith ANYTHING is possible.

WHICH ONE IS YOUR FAVORITE!

Some days I wake up and live the only life that I know of, full of repetition. I’m not sure if I figured all of this out yet but I think repetition could be good to a certain degree. I have been changing many things in my life lately and I it’s all good at least I would like to think so. I mean don’t we all sorta go on this life changing soul sweep when the New Year’s horizon comes near us? I enjoy a new year, it allows us to consciously make life altering changes or itty bitty changes. But change is good. Life will never stay vibrant and bright if we keep things the same.

Since I graduated college a few months ago (yes I went back at the ripe age of 26) I have realized many things. One thing is I am an ARTIST. What does that mean? For me it means I do not have a 9-5 job. It means I constantly have to stay in tune with my spiritual side and that can be a full time job on it’s own. It means when most people are sleeping I am up thinking about what I will do next for work. All of these things can make the human brain feel tired.

I know everyone feels tired at the end of their day. Life sorta does this to us. I guess the reason I am sharing this post is because times get tough and scary but if we just trust our journey a little bit then we might see a tiny ounce of color in that dead flower on the curb.

Trusting a journey that you have NO idea about is what LIFE IS ALL ABOUT. I trust that my journey will bumpy and crazy but it’s important for us to feel every emotion that runs through our body. No masking with pills or booze just FEELING everything.

I must warn you. Feeling can be scary and the unknown can be scarier. Just bedazzle your seatbelt, grab your camera, get your shades and a bottle of glitter. This is all you need to make your journey memorable. Big hugs to you from me, LOVE YOU! Happy almost NEW YEAR LOVE BUGS.

I’m coming out. I want the world to know. Gotta let it go.

Wow! What an emotional day. This will probably be the hardest post I have ever written. Not only is it my 33rd Birthday today but also a monumental day. Today the Supreme Court strikes down federal provision on same-sex marriage benefits. This is huge and I am so happy about this right now.

Today’s blog post will be a little different than my normal crafty post. Since Jaderbomb started almost 3 years ago I have shared many things with you and important milestones in my life however I have not shared 100% of who I am with you. You have become a huge part of my daily life and I will forever be grateful for the love and support, which is why I want to share with you about who Jade really is.

I have struggled with many things in my life but the one thing that I always have is support. My family and friends are the reason I am who I am today. They love me unconditionally and that is something I am thankful for. It’s only 10 am and my day has been very awesome so far. Did I mention this was a hard post? I have deleted about 6 paragraphs and started over and over again. I came out about 10 years ago and it was the best feeling in the world. Finally being able to be who I really am was such a relief. My heart aches for anyone who is scared or can’t come out. I had to bury who I was for years prior to coming out and that is not fun, plus I live in the South. Don’t get me wrong I love where I am from but it’s not California, haha! I have had loads of support since I came out and I think if I didn’t I would be a troubled little soul by now!

I am Jade, a true Southern girl who loves my family and friends, a blogger, a lover of gold glitter, madly in love with coke in a bottle (cold), big time coffee drinker and I am GAY. This may matter to some and others might not care at all about what I just shared but this is my online home and it sure feels good to share this with you. WOW! I DID IT! What a monumental day, right!

If you are wondering why I have not shared this publicly yet, let me tell you. I am very passionate about what I do online and I think it shows. The one thing I did not ever want was someone judging me because of my sexual orientation. This little part of me does not matter to some but I have had many bloggers stop communicating with me because of this. Some shocked me but in the end they were negative people and I like to surround myself with positive. I think it’s a sad thing if you ask me. People can be cruel and this is why I felt it was not the best thing to do. In the last year I have gotten really close to many awesome people in the crafting world. Slowly as I became closer to these people I would share with them this “secret” hoping they would react in a positive way. They all did! When I would share with them the bloggers who have been ugly to me they got super upset because they felt it was not important what I did in my personal life. My friend Margot told me once that it was their loss and they would realize it one day. I know that is something anyone could tell me but for some reason when she said it to me it was special. So thanks to all of you (you know who you are) who love me 24-7. I hope this allows you to feel closer to me, after all I am still the same Jaderbomb!

P.S. For anyone who feels stuck in any way just know that releasing who you are is better than holding it in to please anyone! Plus, I love you and will ALWAYS be here for you!
