Paper Mice Halloween Decorations

Hey all my little Jaderbugs!!! I sit here and it’s almost 1 in the morning but I promised you this craft before I go to bed.  I am so so so tired and have sooooo much more to edit!!! I live for you jaderbugs. The great thing about this craft is that you can actually buy them in a pack instead of the way I did mine 6 years ago…{{which was tracing out ALOT with only 3 templates.}}}
Here you go!!! 

p.s. You can either buy the rat’s from the store or you can make copies using the templates online.
p.s. How cool do these babies look! I transformed my kitchen into a dark and dingy place! Infested with MICE!!!!

Glittered Pumpkins

Happy Sunday to all you Jaderbugs out there! This weekend FLEW by. Don’t get me wrong I had a blast but sometimes when you have so much to do it is over before you know it. This craft was so much fun to make. What I love the most about it is that you can do it with your kids! Martha has so many stencils, you are bound to find more than one you will fall in love with.  I used the ones that looks like leaves and ferns. I thought it went with the whole “earthy” effect.  Martha covered her pumpkins completely with glitter and those are super cute also.  I just LOVE the pretty orange color and I though by putting my stencils in certain spots it would give the feel of a “real” pumpkin behind the patches of glitter.  Don’t forget I linked all of the products I’ve used at the bottom of this post!
Let’s get started!!! 

p.s. You will need pumpkins (fake or real), Martha Stewart glitter and Martha Stewart Metallic paint.
p.s. You will need foam pouncers and stencils.  Make sure you get Martha’s brand because they adhere to whatever surface you put them on. And the awesome thing is you can use them over and over!
p.s. These are the stencils I used! As you can see I just placed it wherever I wanted on my pumpkin!
p.s. I put some gold paint on my foam pouncer then started pouncing away!
p.s. I used some green glitter for the “leaves”…This glitter gives the best coverage that I have ever seen! Make sure you pour it over something so you can pour the leftover’s back into the container.
p.s. Tadahhhhh! How cute! I added some orange leaves at the bottom {{I know they look red lol}} but I promise they are orange! OH! I also glittered the stem.

Black Cat Silhouettes

Good Morning all you Jaderbugs out there! Have you seen Martha’s show this morning? I will put a link at the bottom of this post because if you have NOT seen the show you must see it! They showed the BEST Halloween costumes for dogs and lemme tell you how cute they are! THEY ARE CUTE!
When I decided to do this craft I wanted to change it up just a little bit! Not a lot, just a little! I hope you enjoy it and make a lot of them! Put them all over your house!!!!
Be creative!!!! 

p.s. You will need scissors, craft glue, metallic martha stewart paint, and the cat template’s
p.s. This is Martha’s Halloween Designer Paper Pad! Wait till you see the pages in here! They have the BEST designs and to top that off, both front and back of each sheet is a different design. How much fun is that!
p.s. I used tinsel glitter for this craft. I love this glitter!
p.s. I used the template on the website and cut it out. I then traced it onto one of the sheets of designer  paper. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the black and white stripes!
p.s. I put a little strip of glitter glue onto a couple of the black stripes then drizzled it with tinsel glitter. This glitter is pure LOVE.
p.s. I took a wooden skewer and painted it gold then taped it to the back of the cut out.
p.s. Look how cute!
p.s. I think I will be doing ALOT more!

Butterfly Clip Art Printables

Howdy all you little jaderbugs! I hope your Tuesday went “awesiamo”! Is that a real word?  So I have tried to do this post like 10 times today but something always came up! NOW, it’s 10:30 and I am sitting here trying to finish while catching up on all my TV shows that I missed in the last week! I have 98% memory left! {{paahahah}}…..Can you believe they are all reality shows too!!!!
Onto the craft! I just wanna tell you that once you start using Martha Stewart’s glitter you will have a major glitter addiction. For the rest of your life! When I saw this craft on her website I fell in love because I find butterflies so fascinating. I wanted to jaderbomb these babies in a my own way so I decided to add….. come on guess… GLITTER!!!!!
I can’t even explain how awesome these babies came out! You have to do these and be creative with the glitter you use! Her colors are so bold and they cover so nicely!
p.s. You will need scissors, glitter glue, glitter and butterfly template.
p.s. The picture on the left just has glue on it and you just sprinkle glitter right on top.
p.s. Look how pretty with just ONE color!!!

Glittered Spiderweb Hurricanes

Hey there my little Jaderbugs! New York was AWESOME! When one of the producers of The Martha Stewart Show asked me what I thought of New York so far I told her that is was EVERYTHING I could of ever expected. I don’t know if you remember a while back me saying that this countdown was gonna be a way to “test” myself. To push myself a little harder at something and see if I could finish on time.  I knew I made this promise to {{myself}} but NOW I have made a “for real” promise to MARTHA! There will be NO excuse to NOT finish this project. The thing is, I know there will be days I won’t feel like crafting, taking pictures, editing pictures, writing and so on. I think that is what makes me want it so much more! I know in the end it will be worth every ounce of labor! Have you ever sat down and though about “what’s next” in your life? Just sitting there making up all these “what if’s” in your head? I caught myself doing that yesterday and then I realized that is not what I am supposed to do.  Ya know, life is NOW! Everyone has “plans” for the future but the reality is all you have is the moment your in, then it’s over. So next time you are trying to figure out what comes next, take a deep breath and live in the NOW!` I mean REALLY live in the now, and while your in the now thank the universe for all the good you have. I thank everything I believe in every second I can for all the good and positive in my life.  There is so much to be thankful for but it can be easily blinded by negative thoughts. Let’s all live with a positive outlook and even though things might not be how you “planned” them to be just remember that it’s how your book is supposed to be.

After all, it’s your book. Your the only one writing it and editing it.

Today’s craft is SO MUCH FUN~I think what I love the most about it is that you can use any color glitter that you want. I have to tell ya, Martha Stewart’s glitter is the BEST! Of course spiderwebs look great in black but how cool would a spiderweb look in orange or purple! You can do a variety of colors and place them all together. This would make a GREAT center piece for a Halloween party. The only thing I didn’t do is use a frosted pillar. I also added a little “southern” feel by using a canning jar!
Don’t forget at the bottom I will link up everything I used for you to quickly get to if you are interested in buying them!

p.s. all you need is glitter glue, glass container, template, tape
p.s. Martha’s glitter is so awesome! I have to say it has FULL coverage on anything it goes on!
p.s. This is the paper trimmer we used when I was on the show! When I tell you this baby cuts, it CUTS!!
p.s. After you cut the two spiderwebs out tape them together and place it in the inside of whatever you are using. Get your glitter glue and start using the lines on the inside of container to draw your lines on the outside. Then simply pour glitter over WET glue. I did a little bit at a time to ensure my glue absorbed all the glitter it could.
p.s. Once you glitter the whole thing, let it dry. After you get all the glitter off of the glass just simply tie some ribbon around the top!

Ombre Photo Mat

Hi there my little Jaderbugs! What a wild and crazy week! As I sit in here my hotel room in New York I am trying to figure out if some of my tears are tears of joy, or tears of sadness. So I decided to dig a little deeper. I think they are both.
~tears of joy: I think they {{joy}} tears are from this crazy awesome experience.  I never in my wildest dreams thought I would meet Martha and her AWESOME staff in person {{{ever}}}. But I did, and let me tell you I am still on cloud one million one. Remember on the segment when Martha asked me what number craft the Ombre Photo Mat will be? I told her like one million one. (another tear dropping).
~tears of sadness: I think these babies are because it’s all over. I belong in this environment. It’s just sad how it seems to go so fast. I remember thinking when I was getting my hair and makeup done “Jade, slow your brain down. Savor this moment so it feels like it lasted longer than it did”.  So I listened and it worked. I remember how many times my hair was curled, I remember the (ju-ju) mint the makeup artist gave me and how we laughed because it stuck to my cheek and every other little bitty detail.  Ya know it was my first time wearing “fake” eyelashes. Well they were individual ones and boy did they look awesome!
I have to tell you this, when I first got there I was waiting in this little room and it was early. They told me to go there with comfy clothes and no makeup. I was thinking, NOOOO!!! But I followed directions well!!! Anyways, I was sitting in this room and I heard this voice getting closer and closer. I was not sure if it was who I thought it was but then again this whole experience felt like a dream so maybe I was hallucinating.  THEN….I saw a set of eyes hit mine. It was her! MARTHA. She was so pretty, and as she passed me in her comfy clothes and I made a gasping noise.  Apparently my hand went over my heart/chest because my heart skipped a beat. So she kept walking and I guess she heard my “GASP” for air and did a very mellow double take and then smiled at me. I tell ya, I just got goosebumbs talking about it.
Jaderbugs, you have to remember. This is someone who I have been watching and following all of my life. There is not ONE time in my life that I thought I would stop.
When she smiled at me I just started laughing. You know that laugh right? That hysterical, delirious laugh. It just hit me afterwards.
Me and the producers and craft’s team hit it off! They will SURELY be lifelong friends! {{who I will see again soon}}. My whole experience was surreal and I really don’t know where to begin. I promise I will post ALOT of pictures once I get home and organize everything. I have SO much more to share with you!
Let’s craft! Today’s craft will be a little different than you are used to. I normally have pictures (step-by-step) but today I have a video.  I will take a video like this ANYTIME over pictures! This craft was SO MUCH FUN. I only got to do number 16 with MARTHA. NO sweat!
She was SO nice and kind! I was so nervous when she was opening my gift I brought her, but she LOVED them. I gave her my red rose earrings that you can find in my ETSY shop. Everyone else LOVED the earrings too! I didn’t want to leave (even tho I am so happy to see happy faces at home).  I can’t wait to go back and see all my friends the universe sent me!
