While sitting down flipping through the television stations I ran across a commercial for Cotton. It suddenly brought me back to Georgia where cotton fields are very common. I will never forget the first time I saw a field full of Cotton. I was truly amazed at the beauty of these little white puffs growing in the middle of nowhere.

I had to stop and see if this was real or an illusion my eyes were playing on me. Then I realized it was not an illusion. I am not sure if picking Cotton that I indeed didn’t plant is bad manners but I just could not walk away from this without bringing home a little bundle. As you can see throughout my bundle I have some that are fully bloomed and some that are just starting to defoliate. Defoliation is the stripping of the leaves from a cotton plant. Just though some might want to know.

This is a great view of the entire Cotton field. Is it not truly magnificent!!

This is my bundle of joy that arrived safely at home. No bumps or bruises. Joie de vivre.
