Stenciled T-Shirt Craft

GOOD…NIGHT my Jaderbugs! It has been a long day. Still very blessed with the life I was given and you can bet your kitty’s winter wardrobe that I am not taking any second for granted! EVER!

Guess what! It’s almost Halloween. I think this time of year is so much fun. I love carving pumpkins and {{usually}} cutting myself, baking, opening windows, burning awesome smelling candles all over the house! You get it, it’s FALL!

This craft was super fun and super easy. There are a couple of things that went wrong and I will share them with you to make YOUR life a little easier. Let’s face it. Sometimes we have to come up with a “costume” of some sort (and it could be for ANY holiday) last minute. We may not have what we “want” but we can improvise with what we already have! Which is what I did.
I started by drawing a “sketch” of a skeleton’s rib cage and arm bones out on a piece of wax paper. Then I cut out what I wanted to be on the shirt. This is where the tricky part comes in. I just placed any object I could find around me {{NOT SMART jaderbomb NOT SMART}} and used them as “paper weights”. No. Not smart. I had to do it all over again because where I was putting my paint was getting all messed up because my paper kept moving. I suggest you spray the backside with some light spray adhesive and place it on your material. Trust me it won’t stay forever, in fact you will be able to peel it right off.  I suggest using the stencil brush set that I have below. They work the BEST and I’ll bet you Martha’s wardrobe on that one… {{sorry Martha!}} After you pounce every spot you want, lightly peel off the wax paper. You can add a flare to the shirt by sprinkling glitter on top of it. If you do this I would suggest waiting about 7 days before you wash it. Without glitter 48 hours.

Then TADAHHHH!!! That is it. This project if really fun because you can print out whatever you want and put it on ANYTHING you want. I love stencils because when you peel away you have a clean and crisp edge! This looks nice!
OH and make sure you use the Fabric Medium I have pictured if you are panting on fabric.
Here are the links to everything I used:

The color I used in the middle is called “wet cement”

Remember, when you are cutting things out you want to cut them out very nicely so they look great on the surface!

I know these babies look crazy right here but trust me, it was a rough sketch LOL

I used the color Wet Cement because I figured on the black shirt it would come out almost “off white” to resemble bones.
I hope you enjoyed this craft and it sparked some craft light bulb in your brain!
Sending you droopy eyes that will finish this before they fall asleep on the computer,

Glitter Candles Tutorial

Monday, Monday gotta wake up it’s Mondayyyyy {{singing in my “Friday, Friday}} voice. I have to say I think it is pretty obvious that I LOVE glitter. I have ALWAYS loved glitter but it’s on a whole new level now! I have an addictive personality {go figure} and when I find something that makes my heart beat “really” fast I tend to involve it WAY TOO MUCH in my daily life.  There is only one problem. I somehow glitter everything my little eyes come across now. Maybe it’s the glitter. Yeah, it’s the glitter. I have always used “eh, OK” glitter but I have to be honest, Martha Stewart’s glitter is so powerful. It covers better than my flat sheet covers me at night (and I don’t even have a flat sheet). Now that’s coverage.
You know what I love the most about this craft? The fact that no matter what holiday is coming around you can decorate with candles and glitter. It’s absolutely affordable and believe me when I tell you this! I can’t wait to make bright, bold colors for Christmas! We can’t forget about Easter! Those pastels will be so beautimus.
{{and LENORE, you were RIGHT!!!}}
Let’s get to the craft of the day!

p.s.  These are the three colors that I used for my {{Fall/Halloween}} candles
p.s. Simply coat your candles with mod podge then sprinkle with glitter! Look how pretty they come out!
p.s. I just stuck them in sand and there you have it! How cute! Just think of every holiday you can use these babies for!

Sending you white sand to remind you of the best day ever on the beach,

Glittered Pumpkins

Happy Sunday to all you Jaderbugs out there! This weekend FLEW by. Don’t get me wrong I had a blast but sometimes when you have so much to do it is over before you know it. This craft was so much fun to make. What I love the most about it is that you can do it with your kids! Martha has so many stencils, you are bound to find more than one you will fall in love with.  I used the ones that looks like leaves and ferns. I thought it went with the whole “earthy” effect.  Martha covered her pumpkins completely with glitter and those are super cute also.  I just LOVE the pretty orange color and I though by putting my stencils in certain spots it would give the feel of a “real” pumpkin behind the patches of glitter.  Don’t forget I linked all of the products I’ve used at the bottom of this post!
Let’s get started!!!

p.s. You will need pumpkins (fake or real), Martha Stewart glitter and Martha Stewart Metallic paint.
p.s. You will need foam pouncers and stencils.  Make sure you get Martha’s brand because they adhere to whatever surface you put them on. And the awesome thing is you can use them over and over!
p.s. These are the stencils I used! As you can see I just placed it wherever I wanted on my pumpkin!
p.s. I put some gold paint on my foam pouncer then started pouncing away!
p.s. I used some green glitter for the “leaves”…This glitter gives the best coverage that I have ever seen! Make sure you pour it over something so you can pour the leftover’s back into the container.
p.s. Tadahhhhh! How cute! I added some orange leaves at the bottom {{I know they look red lol}} but I promise they are orange! OH! I also glittered the stem.
p.s. How cute is this baby!
I hope you have a blast doing this craft and be creative with it! I have some more I am working on and can’t wait to share them with you!!!!
Sending you an unlimited supply of bright orange pumpkins,

Martha Stewart Clean

Let me just tell you about something that is so awesome! On a recent trip to Martha Stewarts studio I was given these products to try! The first thing I loved about them is the fact that they are made with natural ingredients. Anyone OCD like me will appreciate soap that doesn’t dry out their hands till they crack to death!
You will wish you heard about this sooner! I used the bathroom cleaner, the all purpose cleaner and the hand soap! The first thing I absolutely noticed about them was the smell! It wasn’t some strong smell clogging up your nostrils! It was a CLEAN smell!
Here is a little more info on it!
