Crayon Stained-Glass Hearts

I am full of LOVE today. Love for my life and LOVE for the Universe. I will be on Martha Stewart’s show today and I am kinda freaking out. I mean, it’s only in front of millions of people. NO pressure, right? What if I say the wrong thing? Will she think I’m silly? I just wanted to post this fun craft and share with you how thrilled I am and this feels like one big DREAM!
Don’t forget I will be covering the event LIVE on my blog so keep checking my blog out!
WISH ME LUCK!
I will be posting LOTS of pictures from the whole thing so stay tuned my little jaderbugs.

p.s. for the wooden sticks i used bamboo.  i had these for decoration and just broke one in half.  how easy is that!
p.s. shaving with scissors was the easiest way!
p.s. when you put your 2nd piece of wax paper on top of the shavings, it’s best to put a towel on top before you iron it.  personal experience, it works best 🙂
p.s. you can use any cookie cutter or you can free hand your design.
p.s. after cutting out the designs simply put one down, put hot glue on the side facing upward then place rope in the middle.  before the glue dries you need to put the other heart on top and press gently with your hand.
p.s. how cute is this!
p.s. if you put it outside, just remember it is made with paper and if it gets wet it will fall apart.

Glowing Hurricane Glasses Tutorial

Good day my little Jaderbugs! It’s a wonderful day in the neighborhood, won’t you be my neighbor {please hehe}…
I remember when I was little I loved Mr. Rogers. I LOVED that he changed his cardigan every 5 minutes. Looking back now, that sucker was very fashionable. Plus, you can never go wrong with a cardigan.  So the days are getting closer till I get to see Martha! I keep pinching myself because this just can’t be happening to lil ole me! BUT IT IS, and I am so thankful to my UNIVERSE.
Matthew 21:22
And all things, whatever you make request for in prayer, having faith, you will get.

With faith, love, and passion anything’s possible.  God rewards you and you will know when it’s just simply your time.

This craft we are doing today was really easy.  The one thing I loved the most about it is you can mix and match with any color tissue paper.  They give off the best lighting once complete. {{can we say affordable also, that’s always a plus}. After all it’s about using what you have and loving it. There is nothing in this world like crafting. It is the best feeling in the world when you can create something with your bare hands. Nothing like it I tell ya.
I can’t even go a day with out looking at {{everything}} in my path and thinking what I could do to “jaderbomb” it.
So grab a coke {or water, or pepsi or whatever} and stay a while.  I don’t mind. Shoot’s bring your friends!

p.s. These are all the ingredients I used.
p.s. You want to start off by folding your tissue paper in half then cut with your scissors.
p.s. After you cut your tissue paper you want to make a fold about 1″ from the bottom. Do another piece and slip it into the first fold. Just continue until you are happy with the look!
p.s. On the left is what it should look like prior to wrapping around your glassware.  Then you want to take whatever “glass” object you are using and lay it flat on top of the tissue paper.
p.s. Tape down that first piece and start rolling. (hint: if you use two sheets in some spots it will make it look darker)
p.s. The one on the left I simply brushed on a little mod podge then sprinkled Martha’s vintage leaf glitter on it and it officially has been jaderbombed. The one on the right I made it look ombre which is so pretty while lit. I just embellished it with that fancy little spider.
p.s. Look how cute this baby is! Has a great jewel on it’s head! So festive!
Sending you all the vintage leaf glitter to sparkle your house up with,
jaderbomb

Homemade Scented Confetti

Happy Saturday my little Jaderbugs! I hope your weekend is going GREAT! I have lots of crafting to do  ALL day Sunday because I have missed a couple of days and I need to catch up! I know all of you forgive me though {{praying hands}}.  The last couple of days have been “surreal”and BUSY! SO much to do and SO little time. Let me know if there is a special craft you would like to see me do! You can write a comment below ANY of my posts’ to tell me!

This is one of the gifts I got in the mail!!! {{thanks Martha}}
 PUNCH ALL OVER THE PAGE
I can’t even explain how awesome this tool is! Let me just tell you the best thing about it. On all four corners they have little magnets. Why is this awesome? WELLLL because you don’t have to “guess” where to place the top! The awesome fantastic magnet’s do all the work! AND, you can use the WHOLE sheet of paper not just the edges!

~For best results press top of punch evenly with both hands.
~Align the flat corner of base to flat corner of top to punch.  The magnets will connect.
~Use this punch in the center, on the edge, or anywhere on the page! Punch multiple times in a row or grid to achieve a patterned effect.

Design your own cell phone case

This weekend I woke up with the “grand” idea to cover my phone case.  What started that idea was the fact that my phone case was FULL of scratches and FULL of paint.  I know, your thinking, “well if you got your real case dirty why would you think you wouldn’t get this furry concoction dirty”.  Fact is I will. If you lived in my shoes a couple days you would see that dirty means GOOD. Dirty means PRODUCTION.  Dirty means, finding ways to constantly “cover” things up.  Ya know, sometimes I hate buying new clothes. It’s so pretty and clean. Those fibers have no idea what it’s like living in the life of an artist.  Well, someone has to do the dirty work {{right eyebrow lifting up REALLY high}}
p.s. if you go to your local craft store you can find every color you could possibly want.  I bough mine at Michael’s Arts and Crafts.
p.s. i like to do a little bit at a time so ensure it is put on well
p.s. just keep on wrapping all over the phone. good thing is if you mess up nobody will ever know because it all blends in.  make sure you don’t cover the spots where your “holes” are.
p.s. when you are almost done you will need to cut the “fur” where your camera lens is.
p.s. tadahhhh.. one BIG ball of love .. YES that is my phone faced down.  funny huh!!!
Sending you balls and balls of hot pink fur,
jaderbomb
P.S. Don’t forget to check out my 100 days of Martha Stewart countdown I am doing. It is a REAL fun project I took on! So fun, I am gonna do a new craft later tonight. Oh you ask. When do I have time to do ALL of this and have a REAL life.  Well, when you are all cozy in your beds at like 3 am… I am crafting.  ((teeheheh))

How to redu outdoor furniture

OK! So I just had to share this with all my jaderbugs because it is so fantastic!!! I totally had this old chair from my mom and this little dingy outdoor table from a friend and they have been “hidden” for quite some time because they were {not pretty to look at}.  I just could not figure out if I was ready to throw them or {{{spruce them up}}}.  I picked option #2!!!! Once you see the end result then you will see why I chose to keep them.  People, anyone could do this.  Seer-e-us-leee!!!!
All you need is different colors of paint.  I used some cheap acrylic paint from Michaels Arts & Crafts! I think they were like .99 cents! Fuh-Reel~
I just want to say that I went in no particular order while painting these! I just let myself go!
So next time you have something that looks dingy or boring just add some color to it and it will give it a whole new look!
OH! and don’t forget to add polyurethane to it when it is completely dry.  This will make the wood last a little longer and give it a great coating so the paint won’t chip off!
Happy Crafting 🙂
p.s. if you have a piece of furniture that already had paint on it make sure and sand it down just a little to get loose paint off then just paint right over!
p.s. seriously.  how cute is this!!!
p.s. if you know me then you know that i always have to add glitter into the mix! i bought a little bottle of black acrylic paint that already had paint in it!!! i put a coat on top when the paint dried.
p.s now couldn’t you see yourself drinking a nice cup of coffee on this chair!!! trust me, i think it makes the coffee better for some reason
🙂
Until next time:
peace, love, jaderbomb

Paper Umbrella Wreath

So it’s FRIDAY!!!! Wahooooo…  It totally had a blast doing this little craft and I know you will too!
I have alot of great and fun crafts coming up you little jaderbugs!!! I know it’s totally not “officially” summer yet but it’s JUNE and it’s HOT, RIGHT!!!!!
OH: remember if you make this wreath you can’t put it outside unless is covered or in a covered spot (sorta).  If you put it on your front door make sure it has some protection from the rain, if not you might want to put it in another place.  If the rain hits hit {{{at all}}} it will fall apart, because the umbrellas are made with paper.
They are great for a party!!!!!
Or just to celebrate the coming of a hot and glorious summer…
I hope you all enjoyed this craft!
Until next time:
