DIY: Nail Polish Decorations

HIIIIIII all my Jaderbugs!!!! Can you believe it’s 6 days till CHRISTMAS! I wish Santa had a cellphone so I could call him and ask him if he can push Christmas back a week. Shoot’s, I wonder if he would. I mean, I have been a GREAT girl this year..I think he would fulfill my request. Although he might just ask me to help him make toys in return. Ok. I’m good with 6 days.

I saw a nail tutorial on making nails using this technique and I though it would be really cool if we could make ornaments using the same technique. I’m happy and not happy with the way they turned out! I wished I would have used a bigger cup so it would of coated the mug just a littttte bit more. In the end, they came out so CUTE!

When you are doing this craft you sorta feel like a magician because the nail polish just STICKS to the glass immediately.

Get a mug just a little bit bigger than whatever you will be sticking in it.

Get your ornament ( I just used a glass one that was already on my tree) HaHa

Get your nail polish out. I tried SOOOO many different name brands but ORLY works the BEST for this craft. Revlon is my 2nd favorite.

Drop a little bit of nail polish into the water, this is what it will do.

Drop different colors of nail polish into the water.

Then dip your glass ball into the mug. You don’t have to press too hard because as soon as the glass touches the nail paint it will stick SO QUICKLY! It’s bloody amazing!

Check out this design!

See! So pretty!!!!!

I grabbed some of my Martha Stewart tinsel glitter and shook some inside of the ornaments.

You have to be in love as much as I am in love with these babies! You better get dozens of glass ornaments because this craft is absolutely addicting!!!

Watching “knocked up” and laughing my behind off,

Chicken fried steak, wait it’s noodles in WIENERS!!!

Have you ever had to beg your kids to eat? Does food get BORING? Well if so then you are in the right place! It’s like magic aliens came down and invented this. It’s really so freaky and so freaking cool at the same time! Did you ever think it was possible!

It was the funniest thing when me and my sista from another mista did these babies! I can’t lie. It felt weird pushing the “raw” noodles through the wieners. I’m not sure if it was the texture freaking me out or the fact that they looked so crazy. Sista from another mister laughed the entire time and so what should of took 10 minutes to make them took about 45 minutes. I think the most important thing is we had fun and our bellies hurt after “TRYING” all of them in the end. You know how that goes. You just have to keep eating to make sure 100 percent that they ARE good. When we realized there was none left (insert crooked lip and stank eye) we just watched toddlers and tiara’s. Let’s get started because I’m sure some kid out there NEEDS to make this.

You will need wieners, uncooked spagetti noodles and a pot with water.

Make sure you cut them all up into little pieces. Then you will stick your raw noodles through the wieners

Seriously. This is gross looking. HAHA

I used SLAP YA MOMMA to season my water… SO GOOD! Click here to order some!

I am still not sure if I love them or not. They are sooo good with spagetti sauce! I hope you enjoy making these awesome/scary looking babies!

Lot’s of noodles to hug you forever!

Dreaming of sugar plums, orange mist and vampires

Sometimes I wonder about a lot of things. Like oranges. Why do they spray a mist if you squeeze them? I swear it’s the best thing ever! Plus it smells like crazy good! I filmed a video tonight in my car because I had to tell you something and when I went to view it… NOT THERE. I totally looked like a fool driving and “thinking” I was filming only to find out that I wasn’t! Haha. I think a couple of cars passed me and prolly thought “what in the world is this wanna be vampire doing”… Oh wait you didn’t know I was a vampire. (fine.i’m human). BUT I really wanted to tell you that I finally saw Breaking Dawn and I am even more in love.

I didn’t think Edward could get any hotter until he stepped off of that boat in “BEACH” clothes. I seriously just looked at Ashy and opened my mouth. She laughed. Then I shook my head. I am kinda mad though. WHY in the JOLLY GREEN GIANT would they split this book into two movies. Seriously. I would like to meet whoever decided to do that. It’s like a really bad vampire breakup. I get mad at the blood suckers when I have to wait too long, then I watch the movie over and all of a sudden they are off of the hook. But only for a moment. I figured I would take the color out of these awesome pictures I found hiding in my album. Bring a little darkness to these suckers. I am so in love with them because they all have awesome memories tied to them.

I hope everyone is ready and prepared (sorta haha) for Christmas! I am SO not ready but I will be ready for the registar war in the AM!

Feeling even more vampire-ishy and I wanna be Bella (just for 10 min),

OREO PUFFS!!!

Howdy Hoo Jaderbugs! It is ALMOST CHRISTMAS!!! Can you believe it!!!! I can’t believe it…(haha)  Now I totally get when my parents used to say “it goes by so fast you almost miss it”. I love this season though. Watching movies {{of course Christmas ones}}, drinking warm drinks that make your belly feel nice and cozy, wrapping presents, listening to fun jazzy Christmas music and BAKING. I don’t know if you remember the peppermint popcorn I posted the other day. If you have not seen it click HERE to get to it! They came out SOOO good! I brought some to my Dr’s office today because they are so awesome and they deserve a nice treat (with a coke). They all loved them and loved the fact that they were pink. Remember if you want them to be a certain color all you have to do is put a little food coloring in the melted almond bark. Just think, green, yellow, blue or purple popcorn. EEEKKK I am getting excited all over again.

You will need: Peppermints, Oreo’s, half a pack of Almond Bark and 2 bags of Popcorn.

I got the Oreo’s with red cream in the inside! Makes it a little more festive! Make sure you put your peppermints in the processor to get them into a powder form.

First I chopped my oreo’s up with a knife then put them through a food processor to really crush them up.  Melt your almond bark and pour a little over the popcorn and sprinkle with oreos and crushed peppermints.

Lay it all out on a piece of wax paper and there you have it jaderbugs!

Some GOOD OLE OREO PUFFS! Boy do they taste YUMMERS! If you want to call them something else you can because I just made up putting oreos in it and came up with that funky name!

I hope you have fun making yummy and fun treats for all of the people you love,

JaderBUGS! I can’t wait till you get to eat this fluffy peppermint popcorn. When I started to make this I though “Hmmmm this might just be TOO sweet”… and then when it hit my mouth. I.Was.Wrong. It totally sent my mouth into PANIC attack. I have to warn you though, if you taste it when it’s still wet it will not taste like it is supposed to. You totally have to let it set till dry. I had so much fun making this because I love being able to use my hands to mix things instead of big spoons or mixers. You get to feel all of the {{gooeyness}} and then you have NO choice but to lick ALL of your fingers…Let’s get started before I drool on my computer!

You will need popcorn, peppermints and almond bark.

Pop your popcorn and place them in a bowl (this is the bowl you will be mixing everything in) and then you need to crush your peppermints. I used a food processor and it was like MAGIC!

SEE. MAGIC. It turned it into a powder form. Did I tell you how GOOD this powder was? Just think you could put this over ice-cream… YUMMERS.

Yummmmm…. I swear I didn’t eat all of it!! (just some of it).

After you pop your popcorn and crush your peppermints you will need to melt your almond bark. I always cut my bark into little pieces because it melt’s a lot faster and prevents you from burning it. Trust me I have burnt ENOUGH chocolate! NOT FUN. I only used half of the almond bark for 2 bags of popcorn.

As soon as you melt it drizzle some over your popcorn and then sprinkle peppermint dust over it. Mix with your hands. REPEAT until you feel you are happy with it.

When you are done lay all of your popcorn out on wax paper. Let it dry completely. When it is dry you can break them up and EAT THEM!!

Oh MY WORD. This looks like little puffs of perfection. RIGHT! AND THEY ARE PINK! I hope you enjoy making this and let your kids help out. It’s a great thing for them to do and they will NEVER forget it!

Sending you all of the pink popcorn in the world,
